For me it's the vocalist. His singing fits their instrumentals perfectly and he's just amazing.

I'd devour a whole album in this style. It's incredibly good.

I always like Northlane since Marcus joined, but i think they are better live. 

I also do like Nu Metal(core) a lot, so for me this is the perfect mix of their "old" marcus era sound and nu-metal.

It's bouncy and groovy and i can totally get behind this.
