hope there's more solid tracks like this on the actual album. i thought there were terrible choices for first singles
-
LOL. at first, i thought this was the long awaited Gravity Kills album

I really miss the old RELIENT K ! Anything "Mhmm" and before. Too many lineup changes over the recent years

@MechanicalAnimal I consider two of those tracks as Interludes. but agree, GREAT Stuff throughout!

GREAT Album! These guys keep putting out good material whether its melodic or heavier sounding. "Waiting" has such a good chorus!

Actually a decent listen to pass the time. The singer has just an average Karaoke dude type voice. But Fieldy from KORN and the drummer of P.O.D. bring some talent to the band.
-
Cool. I was expecting the band to fall off a cliff when they started going through extensive band member changes over the years.
But the last two albums are some of my favorite, Alexia keeps this band going strong !

@Venomborn Darker Side of Nonsense was one of the first albums that really got me into metal. That album was so ahead of its time, cool riffs and tons of energy! Good to hear new stuff. but i read a good year ago they prolly won't release a full length... just new singles every once in a while

I like the new sound. Its a fun listen. Reminds me of the band SKIP THE FOREPLAY that released a similar sounding album back in 2012
-
Wouldn't "Paint You With My Blood" been more Manson fitting?
-
I like it but they really did NOTHING different with the song. Aren't covers meant for bands to add their own sound to it??
-

actually a fun listen. Didn't expect a cover of The Go Go's on here lol. ya think they would keep the song face paced like the original, otherwise it doesn't "Have the beat"
-
Out did my expectations. Was waiting to hear that solo from the instagram clips at the end of "Open Your Eyes'... Wasn't sure his vocals would fit well with this project but I will definitely be spinning this one for good awhile. BFMV has their work cut out for them after listening to this effort by Moose!

Not bad, just miss there old Indie sound with guitar leads. This album seemed very influenced by 80's Billy Joel, The Cars etc. which I loved for that time, but now seems outdated. The lead track almost sounds like they just got done listening to " We Didn't Star The Fire"

There last good album was probably NIHIL from 1995. they have turned into a joke band along with Ministry. a full DUB album? Rediculous
-
The debut CexCells had some good dark material. Usually just 2-3 decent tracks on each release after that. I don't like the direction they've taken with the Club Music sound, probably because the ProTools type programs have watered down music in general with bands putting forth less effort

the opening reminded me of CKY or Quarashi style riffing. It's still better than anything recorded on the last album. waiting for that down tuned stuff!
-
@Groundking Even the B-sides album "Similarities" a few years ago rocked. This is the first full length of theirs I did not care for. i only found 3 or so tracks I wouldnt mind keeping in my folder
-
I love my Biffy Clyro but I'm not a fan of this one. They seem to be getting a little too Progressive and the songs don't flow well. It doesn't happen often in the Alt. Rock genre. maybe The Used, Nothing More, Enter Shikari can pull it off successfully, but i'd rather just the simple structure
-
The riff sounds exactly like "Balls Out" by Bloodhound Gang from 15 years ago . but nonetheless, the best material they've been putting out in 10 years
-
@jimisbatman you JUST discovered a band that reached there peak in 2003 !? Oh, by the way this is an ALL COVERS album "Another Nail In My Heart: is a SQUEEZE song from 1980
-
Heard a sample of this last night, immediately sounded alot like early The Offspring
-
Love Avatar! This is much better than the last album i felt was too "gimmicky" with the whole Hail To The King Guitarist act. Love to groove of "Scream Until You Wake" and "Justice" would've fit well back on the "Black Waltz" ep. I would like to see them do more slow/mid tempo build up songs in the future

i think this is the 3rd song released with the new vocalist in the past 2 years or so. All pretty solid so far
