Woof. This is some Imagine Dragons tier music. ES have always skated that fine line of some really great songs with great hooks to downright cringe. I like their slower poppier stuff. If it's good. Live outside is great. This feels incredibly uninspired. Also, Roo is a terrible lyricist. If the song itself works, that's not an issue. But in those slow melodic piano tunes, they can be laughable. So I hope they focus more on catchy hooks on the new album. But from what I've heard so far, it's pretty bland.
