  1. Nice! Some good girl-fronted punk rock, everything from heavy/aggressive riot grrl stuff to new wave/post-punk to pop punk, but also some nice experimental indie rock sounds to it also.
  2. For anyone wanting to preview: https://mishamullov-abbado.bandcamp.com/
  3. This has a really cool sound! Looking forward to hearing more from him!
  4. Thanks for this! I'm not jazz afficianado, but this seems pretty good... some nice soft jazzy moments, some bursts of energy, some more chaotic parts, but mostly easy-going overall and nice to listen to.
  5. Looking forward to listening to this... a good punk band!
  6. This single was just OK, but I checked out their bandcamp and their full-length album is really pretty good. Can't see if there's anywhere to get it for free though. https://midnightsatire.bandcamp.com/album/bad-karaoke
  7. Very low quality recording. Not enjoyable to listen to.
  8. Really looking forward to the full album, this is a good band!
  9. Old school 90's style grunge/punk-influenced alternative rock, pretty good single.... looking forward to seeing what the full album sounds like.
  10. Pretty impressive / haunting vocals. Mostly a bit slow/soft and droning along, but a number of songs have some very heavy-hitting parts that sound really great to me. If there were more of the heavy parts overall I think I'd enjoy it more.
  11. This is some good stuff! Good indie rock taking quite a few various influences... some consistently good guitar work, good drums, a fair bit of variation between softer parts and then some really pounding high-energy parts, a mix of male and female vocals (neither standing out on their own, but the variation between them works well)... a lot of variety overall. Looking forward to giving it an in-depth listen.
  12. This sounds more like early-2000s post-hardcore as others have said... for me that's a big improvement over much of the modern post-hardcore here on Kingdom Leaks. I'm enjoying this EP quite a bit so far, well-produced with some good guitar parts and a good mix between singing and hardcore vocals.
  13. Very much pop punk, pretty good within this genre.
  14. Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely look into their other stuff!
  15. Pretty straightforward pop punk, but not as whiny as typical pop punk. Not bad, but pretty generic - maybe just a bit average in this genre (of pop punk). A couple weird hardcore parts thrown in there (that don't seem like they really fit well at all).
  16. Honestly, I'd never listened to this band before, but I'm listening to "Oh Calcutta" on bandcamp right now and you're right, it's really good! I don't listen to Green Day much to be honest, but some songs in the new album gave me some hints of that (closer than anyone else I could think much of anyway). Not a strong comparison though, just some reminders.
  17. Really good midwest/sparkly emo/punk! Pretty "standard" what I've heard so far, but I really like this genre and this is a good example of it! A solo project, put together well. Check out their bandcamp here: https://parknational.bandcamp.com/album/the-big-glad
  18. I'm really enjoying this so far! Seems like "aggressive indie" is a pretty good description for this... definitely some emo influence, but less typical. Seems really great and creative with plenty of energy and some unique types of sounds going together! Also, their bandcamp's got some of their older music which also sounds really good and is pay-what-you-want! Excited to have found this band! https://kelsigrammar.bandcamp.com/album/beingpetty
  19. Sounds like fairly straightforward folk-ish music... hard to notice any particular emo influence. Very soft, mostly slow. Here's the bandcamp for easy preview: https://friendclubrecords.bandcamp.com/album/sand-co-forever-laying-down
  20. What I've heard so far is pretty interesting... definitely leans more towards art/indie rock with some pretty heavy/dark parts. Looking forward to hearing more!
  21. Not bad, pretty decent post-hardcore / melodic hardcore... a bit heavier (leading more towards hardcore) than most post-hardcore these days - I like it!
  22. Not bad so far! Some melodic punk rock with a bit of pop punk to it for sure. Doesn't stand out as particularly creative or anything, but some solid melodies put together well. Some minor comparisons to more modern Green Day would be appropriate.
  23. Electronic soft pop. Not my preferred genre.
  24. Not a bad sound... *very* poppy though. I think the title of "power pop" is probably the most accurate description of their sound... not sure that "punk rock" really fits at all.
