This release is filled musically with some cool ideas that are kinda haphazardly thrown together. It's the same thing with the linked music video as well. Some cool concepts (the costume designs were sick), but the editing, pacing, and random visual effects detract from them.

Literally all I wanted to know was if there were any tracks that sounded like Green Day's 'American Idiot', because that's by far my favorite album by them. Hey everyone! I've been on here for a while. You've probably at some point seen one of my Black Malachite albums / EPs / singles on the main page (there's been a ton of them), and now I'm embarking on an absolutely massive new Black Malachite project. I've recently finished scripting and started recording for a MASSIVE musical album (currently scripted and composed to be around three hours in length), with full blown dialogue, orchestral compositions, etc. The story revolves around two different time periods, one Cyberpunk, one Elven / Medieval, and time travel, and a whole bunch more. It's an epic filled with romance, comedy, awesome battle scenes, and a massive musical score blending orchestral, synthwave, classical, and more. I'm looking for additional voice actors who are interested in being part of this awesome project. The cast I'll be rounding out around 10-15 people, and we currently have four already working on lines, and another two confirmed. This should have been the first single instead of Yummy. The laid back 90s RnB vibes and the atmosphere are absolutely wonderful on this track. I'm actually really excited for this album again.

This was... incredibly boring.

Only tracks I really enjoyed from these guys before were "Erased" and "Pullin' Shades", but this new song actually sounds really cool. Hopefully the whole album follows suit.

I really want to know the context behind this. I'm not familiar with this band at all, but from what you're saying it sounds like one of the members suffocates the potential of the group.

Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of nostalgia with this band's stuff, but why does the vocalist sound like he's falling asleep singing the chorus lines?

Demi Lovato is a garbage human being and a hypocrite, but she is a talented vocalist. Boring song though.

Why is the production so bad on this? I'd be able to enjoy the solid cleans a LOT more if the instrumentals had any impact whatsoever.

This is literally Radiohead but somehow even less charismatic, and Radiohead is boring as all hell.

Halsey is an interesting topic for me. I hated her original output (her first two albums), but then "Without Me" dropped and caught my attention. "Without Me" was a great song overall, chill vibes. This song lyrically is pretty decent, scathing in a way that you don't really hear in Pop that often which is cool, and I like the Country influence. But am I the only one who feels like she could have dove a lot deeper into that influence? I feel as though the Pop influence was unnecessary. Also I get why she's showing a lot of skin in this video, I think she's making a huge mistake by giving G-Eazy the satisfaction of (oh hey, you're a cheating piece of shit? I'm going to show you how much you don't matter by getting practically naked / naked and letting a bunch of random extras feel me up). I feel that her in an elegant dress that was sexy, but not so revealing would have hammered the genuinely hard hitting lyrics even more. Like imagine if she said "I'm glad I never had a baby with you" surrounded by that same entourage, but she was sitting on a throne, above them, symbolizing that she's above him. Good concept and decent song made less powerful by really awkward execution.

As someone who really liked Bieber's last album 'Purpose', this feels like just a throwaway track he's using to show people "hey, I'm here again." He's probably going to drop a second track with a big budget music video within a month.
