This would have at least been tolerable without the girl vocalist. She's not even doing proper vocalizing, she's just... shouting, and not in an tonally pleasing way either.

This is hands down The Word Alive's best album. Telle's cleans were always the best part of the project, and I'm glad the focus is on atmosphere is paramount here.

Song rules so much and I'm glad they released one last song with the vocalist before he left. Gonna be weird to see what direction this band goes into.

Chorus is fine but this feels really phoned it. Like their straight pop wasn't really good, but it felt more genuine than this.

They completely missed the point of the original song. Not to mention the songwriting is all over the place and generic, there's blatantly obvious melodyne pitch correction in the vocals (which doesn't work for a song like this), and the production itself on the instrumentals is stale. 3/10, Napalm Records will drop them when the inevitable album bombs commercially.

This album isn't as good as purpose, but some tracks like the title track, "That's What Love Is", "Get Me" and a few others really nail the laid-back mellow atmosphere that he was going for. Also the acoustics sound gorgeous. Production rules.

The Self Titled album ruled, the blame doesn't entirely fall on Danny for this. It's just the songwriting direction they chose to go in.

That piano solo sent shivers down my spine. Holy shit this is amazing. I'd argue this is better than the original track.

I wish I discovered this album earlier, it would have been in my top ten albums of 2019 if I knew about it back then. Awesome album, god I love Electronicore.
