weak song great production but unfortunately like most of these core bands, it seems to get worse with age. this is the exact same thing Northlane, Polaris and basically UNFD bands are. There is. a particular sound that people like so don't stray from the path. on one hand, i get it but on the other when you look at their career, on the whole, seems like they're phoning it in. much like how Sumerian bands started to all fit a "theme" meaning 10 sec into a song you know if its a Sumerian band or UNFD etc.

prediction: this will be their worst album

Fact: I'm the only guy with this opinion on here. 

i love its band but this is going to be a very predictable and safe album and ultimately a letdown but I'm sure I will enjoy a few songs, certainly not this one though. . they even went with the same sort of aesthetic Northlane switched to after signing to UNFD and putting out all that post node garbage so the label clearly has a specific way a band must be to participate

Erra are not a new young naive band thus my disappointment.

I sure hope the new album proves me wrong and its just a dud single

Thanks for the share!  I just uploaded that, in case anyone wants a "mastered" version of the record.  Note that it is also a transcode by the way, not a proper 320.  The spectrals look exactly the same as the spectral I have in the post.

someone on Reddit ran the album through mastering AI (LANDR) at a small cost to themselves, sounds way better still not perfect but better.

based on their very uncreative and dull band name i avoided these guys but i have to admit they got chops! this will have to do until misery signals does something new

Finally, they put out something good! For someone who has never enjoyed this bands style, i dig this little ep glad theyve grown up

The Marketing plan for this album is very unwise but it sounds great so far minus gods and the offering, those songs arent awful but just dont fit the flow of the record gods comes of just plain cheesy and very skipable IMO that song should have been cut. Whether i bother to buy the album rests on the last song 

The clean vocals sound forced but otherwise its a great song

This guy gets it. 

By far and large the worst album Baroness has ever put out, devoid of any good guitar solo, beyond subpar production and so many filler tracks that contribute absolutely nothing. 17 tracks quickly widdles down to about 12 actual songs.  R.I.P Baroness.
