  1. Never been a big rap fan but really like Post, this album fucking amazing. Not a single track I would skip. Did not expect this at all
  2. As much as I enjoy red, I did like Reputation more. I just liked the style and lyrics way more (Again, Getaway Car is perfection) and overall more cohesive than a lot of her albums, aside from Red.
  3. Personally these are the best songs on the album: Cruel Summer- Reminds me a lot of reputation and her voice sound actually really great on this. The chorus is a highlight for me. I Think He Knows: Possibly my favorite song on the album after a first listen solely for the simplicity of the song and its super jumpy. Plus I actually like the lyrics on this. Majorly fun song. Miss Americana: Second fave off the album. This is an overall great song in my opinion and the lyrics are great on this and her voice is amazing. You can tell this is one she put a lot of work into. Paper Hearts: This is easily the most fun song on the album and is the perfect summer song (I wish this album came out earlier) and incorporates a lot of really fun moments. Thats really just all I can say, its a fun song. Not the "best" on the song but probably the one I'll go back to the most. Cornelia Street: My favorite slower song on the album which best out the title track. The insutrumental has a lot of subtleties to it and the lyrics are very personal to her, which makes it even better. Also her voice on the chorus is awesome. You Need To Calm Down: In my opinion the best single just for the sake of it being just super catchy, possible one of the catchiest songs she's made in a while. Daylight: She honestly knows how to make really good closers to an album (New Years Day is easily my favorite). Love how everything really came to a nice conclusion with this song and the songwriting was even better on this than most others (not saying much though since the album was very simple) Overall, its a massive step down from Reputation which was one of the best albums of the year in my opinion. For as many good or decent songs, there are songs that are super disappointing (like Me!). Id say the only parts of the album thag are worth while is the first half and a few in the end. Maybe. Unless youre a huge fan of Taylor I would skip it tbh and go listen to 1989 or Reputation. Much better albums. Maybe like a good 5.5/10
  4. Tbh Reputation was her best album, should've won some awards for some of the songwriting alone especially with Getaway Car
  5. I'm actually so proud of her tbh. She's doing what she wants yo do and isn't under any bullshit label that is holding to to doing things she doesnt. Good for her and I'm really hoping to see more cuz I actually did enjoy the album.
  6. She knows EXACTLY how to formulate good pop music and gives an experience to her songs. Idk how the hell she does it but whatever she's doing, many need to take notes. I swear if this gets snubbed like EMOTION did I'm gonna be mad.
  7. Looking at the comments of just not this song but many other pop songs on this site, there is a MASSIVE bias on here. Not even a small bias but a huge ass one. As a guy who does listen to mainly rock, metal, and some industrial I do love when shit has meaning or some type of substance behind it, but where's the harm in listening to somehing just for the fun of it? The song obviously isn't the most amazing thing but its not even close to the worst she's put out. They sound great, the melody is actually pretty refreshing, and its just a fun song. Thats all it is, just a fun pop song.
