  1. Not a huge fan of this one, but I really hope this is a hint towards the Korn Kovers album. I've been wanting that for years.
  2. This is like Bad Omens and the Doom soundtrack had a metal-as-fuck kid, and then Skrillex and David Imitation double-teamed it, creating an unholy abomination of a track. A remix without the crappy EDM would be awesome, but this just hurts.
  3. I thought Got Your Six was good, And Justice for None was okay, Gone Away is one of my favorite covers but the rest (except Sham Pain) felt a bit weak, but this... I think this might be Five Finger Death Punch at their best. I love this. Thanks for posting.
  4. Discovered Dropout Kings a while back and been listening to their album since. Great stuff. This is my second least favorite, next to Burn1, but Burn1 is still good, so this is as well. I hope the whole EP isn't like that though. The rest of their album was amazing, and I'd love to hear some new stuff just as good, if not better.
  5. As with their other albums, there's only 1-3 songs I actually like, and the rest I could take or leave. Except Baggage Claim. Baggage Claim is just bad. Puzzle Pieces is great, been listening to that since it came out. Maeve, Carousel, and The Way Down are good. The intro song thing was kinda good and kinda not. I don't like the way the voice is auto-tuned, but the other aspects of the song were good. Throwing Knives was okay, I probably only remember it because I heard it live. Tracks 2-5 are just there. I don't remember anything about them, and I just finished listening to the album. I'd give the album as a whole a 5.3/10, and Puzzle Pieces (10/10) is responsible for most of that. If this album didn't have Puzzle Pieces, I'd probably never look at it again, and I might not have even picked it up in the first place. Their concerts are another story. They absolutely kill it live.
  6. I've been shitting on Hollywood Undead for a bit. Last two albums were just bad with one or two okay songs a piece, and the EP was somehow more disappointing with one great song, and then absolute shit. I was cautiously optimistic when I heard Already Dead and Time Bomb, which were fucking awesome, and Empire kinda let me down. Honestly, I like this one. Some songs are awesome, some are good, but even the ones I don't like have a part or two I can enjoy. After my cautious optimism, I've been pleasantly surprised. I hope they continue going in this direction.
  7. Really liked I Disagree (the song), not sure why I was looking so forward to this. I'm not necessarily disappointed, but it's not what I expected at all. Sick of the Sun is relaxing as fuck though. It's a 7/10 from me.
  8. Got to see them open for BFMV before they released anything from their second album. Fantastic performance. I frequently listen to their whole first album, I love it. Their second album is... Different. The Hell I Overcame and Careful What You Wish For are good, but they're nothing special, and the rest of the album is kinda just there to be skipped. This song is just a little worse than those tracks. Their first album was so good, I really hope this is just a short phase and not a permanent change in sound.
  9. I'm not a huge fan of the softer stuff they've been putting out because their heavy stuff is just so much better, but this isn't bad. I'm not sure how to feel about this.
