  1. By the looks of it, I think it's a single cover. A bad one, but a single cover nonetheless. I don't think Currents or Sharptone would allow this otherwise. Still not as bad as The Afterimage's album cover for Eve, though.
  2. Christ, this is good. Glad they're back.
  3. The YouTube thumbnail is already reminding me of Design The Skyline. No thanks.
  4. It's a public domain photo, if I'm not mistaken. Meaning it's an free picture anyone can use in any capacity (even with minimal editing) without worry of copyright.
  5. My expectations were pretty high after Hearts on Fire. But wow, this is actually really good so far and I'm only on the fourth song. Tragic Scene and The Shade Can't Save You remind me of why I loved A Spark to Believe so much. Edit: This album blew my expectations away, honestly. Outside of No Hesitation (not a bad song, just not really my flavor at all.), there isn't a bad song on this record. Exit Strategy or The Shade Can't Save You are probably my favorites after a first listen.
  6. Because they have no identity. One minute, they're a metalcore band, the next they are a ballad rock band you hear on Octane, and then they turn into a pair of sadboy rappers with a drumset. They make decent music, but I feel like that's why they get a lot of shit.
  7. This is awful. I mean, Design The Skyline level awful.
  8. Either someone in the band has some money or they're moderately connected in the scene. I'm assuming the former. Good stuff regardless.
  9. The music itself is decent, but christ their videos make me feel that 2009 scene kid level of cringe.
  10. Listening on a pair of pretty high quality pair Sennheisers right now and the mix sounds kind of muffled, or something along those lines. Could be just a me, though. Otherwise, yet another absolutely amazing track from one of the hottest bands in the scene right now.
  11. I get the feeling that Polaris is being massively overhyped, and a lot of people are going to be disappointed. Getting a 'heavy for the sake of being heavy' vibe with the last two singles. Jmo, though.
  12. Did I get a corrupted download, or are all the songs 3:17 and cutting off before they're over? First time I've run into something like this.
  13. It's your hearing. That's beyond clearly Sam.
  14. Been waiting for this, really enjoyed those cleans on the singles.
  15. He said in an interview with Masked Gorilla that there won't be any rapping on the next project. Whether he sticks to that or not, I don't know.
  16. It was done because the original mix was the equivalent of stepping on dog shit.
  17. Real original album cover you got there.
  18. Really, really refreshing. It's unique within a genre that's extremely hard to be unique in. I think the best part about this album though is that it's not vocally driven, it's given time to shine instrumentally.
  19. RIP. Thought a new album was coming out. Welp, that's disappointing. Good shit, nonetheless.
  20. That is Kyle singing, right? It's amazing how much he switched up his vocals from The Afterimage.
  21. Jesus, Eleven Seven turned these guys into a harder Nickelback clone. There's way too much talent in this band for them sound to like a wannabe FFDP with Chad Kroeger on vocals. The douchey album cover should've been a giveaway, though. I mean, what happened to songs like Jesus Slaves, Officer Down, or even Remember When? They all had some substance musically and lyrically. They actually had something unique with Disobey, even if it wasn't directionally cohesive, this is just bad. Kinda surprised people are praising this, to be honest. Edit: Second half of the album is definitely better, but that first half isn't catching me at all.
  22. Agreed. Not one to judge people for their music tastes, but it's hard to take anyone's criticism of originality or quality of said music when their supposed favorite artists are Disturbed and The Weeknd. The song is clearly more melodic than the last, but still just as good as All That You Lost.
  23. Seconded. This band kind of lost what minimal originality that had when Kassim left and they chose not to replace him. Hopefully he'll come back now that he isn't with Alazka anymore.
  24. Thanks for ripping/uploading this. I'm probably in the minority when I say Tom did his fans pretty dirty not uploading his album anywhere. I'm the type who likes to listen to albums before I buy them just in case they suck (a good example being Wage War's newest effort.). I understand why he did it, but it'll only hurt him in the long run. I'll probably end up buying this just because I agree with a lot of his messages and want to support him, but it's a bad business move.
