Supposedly Thomas got vocal lessons around then, and ever since his clean singing has felt kinda stilted - almost like he's concentrating too much on the "proper" technique, and it ends up having the opposite effect he's intending. It's weird to me because his voice was totally fine and natural sounding on Doppelganger too.
makes sense, I never put the two together. some vocalists, especially in phc bands from the 00s, have an interesting voice because it's NOT proper technique. I'm now imagining what Craig Owens, Kurt Travis or Anthony Green would sound like if they tried pulling back in their vocals to fit traditional singing.

most of this is awesome, classic FoT vibes but.. some of the vocals are.. interesting

yeah don't stick around if you feel unappreciated, obviously, but also delete this and don't leave because who else is going to keep me in line

I'm surprised you like this.
I'm surprised you like anything.

I shouldn't like this, it feels like a bunch of dad rock and butt rock crammed into a metalcore album, I don't like when bands do this.
but I'll be fucked, listened for the first time this morning during a workout and it just felt right. under any other circumstance I would have probably written this off as another band I used to like dipping their toe in a mainstream sound.
but idk, it just works for me

Do you have nothing better to do than to start stupid shit like this? Look, the guy obviously thought they spoke French, and didn't want to listen to them if he couldn't understand the lyrics, which is understandable. I don't listen to many foreign artists for this reason. If he had known that they spoke English he probably wouldn't have said that from the beginning. You all also misunderstood what he said about Rammstien. He meant that he thinks their music is good, but he doesn't really listen to them due to their foreign lyrics.
I literally don't understand the people in this world anymore. So what if he has a preference? Isn't music (and all art forms, really) subjective? Is it bad if he prefers music of his own language? How in the fucking hell is that racist? That's like saying that if I don't like Italian food, then I hate Italians.
Does anyone even know what racist means anymore?
while I agree with what you said, he did deserve to get banned for all the other shit he's stirred up before now. that's the problem with being a snarky asshole, people will think you're being shitty even when you're trying to have a sincere conversation. it comes with the territory, trust me
. so I understand why they took it the way they did

I sometimes wonder how these guys feel about their reputation
that was a fucking set up. iirc that was a METAL festival.. and Chad was on stage yelling "you guys wanna hear some fucking metal!?" before playing one of their butt rock classics
still shitty of the crowd to throw rocks and bottles at them, but what did they expect

nah. I just don't have a favorite band. doesn't make sense. I have favorite albums. dbm is one of my favorite albums, but I outright hate some of dgds albums.
weird thing to assume I'm afraid of being made fun of, most of the bands I love are core trash from the late 2000s. fire away.
he knew what he was getting into shitting on a trending leak, we're just having a bit of fun

Genuinely need advice. Help a nigga out.
I've never been a fan of theirs either, but this is special. like, I'm going to buy it after one playthrough special, bands doing stuff like this deserve support
