my throat hurts just listening to this

yo okay first of all this video took me by surprise, halfway through when they were making the right guys life look awesome I was internally rolling my eyes thinking what any sane person would think... then the video flips it on me and I was presently surprised. okay generic metalcore video you win, I should have waited until the end pass judgement. and the harsh vocalist did not stare at the camera flailing his arms around I really appreciated that aside from the balanced video, I liked the music itself well produced, didn't linger and had a nice vibe. both vocalists or good cleans are above average. no cringy lyrics. guitars were fun. definitely worth checking the album out for me.

not you mention progression. the more I listen the more I appreciate this albums use of momentum to either slide into heaviness or bait and switch into a catchy hook. never been a fan of this band either but this is one of my favorite releases this year

the only thrice material I've enjoyed so far was Air and Earth, after listening to this 3 times I don't think that's going to change. it's not that they sold out, they've always been average even when they were playing whatever subgenre the first two albums were. this is the most bored ive been listening to a thrice album. there's parts of this that are brilliant... and some songs you could tell me are coldplay or imagine dragons songs and I might believe it. I'll still check out whatever is next from these guys because they're clearly talented,
