Interested in seeing how this pans out. I've always loved the band's first two records with like that "party metal" sound and the last one taking a dad rock influence while not bathing in it and still keeping its feet in black metal territory, but the singles for this one have me afraid that they're going too deep into that dad rock territory. Okay four songs in and I'm happy with it. It's definitely good, it definitely still sounds like Kvelertak except for Crack Of Doom which feels really out of place with all the English shit but still a dope song.

Holy fucking shit this is his second best record to date. Everything about this immaculate, the fucking production is unbelievable, and I'm not just talking about Kenny's side of it either. The way Denny's voice is pitched all around, his like Andre 3K-type flows, the cut-in cut-out vocal takes, like everything about this is on another fucking level. If it just had a few more hooks I'd say it's his best record to date.

You're a day too late. It was worth it from 2016 until yesterday. Now it's a slowly dying animal. If they keep making music this boring, they're not gonna last very long in the vast sea. If the creative director who made them special comes back, the fans are gonna be pissed and they're still on a crash course.

Jaden Jeong was the creative director behind the entire Loona project. He departed from their agency last year because they kept trying to compromise his artistic vision which made Loona what they were. If you can't see the difference between this and their older stuff, that's on you, it is very clear that Loona did not used to sound like Blackpink. This single sounds like Blackpink. The B-sides are literal Red Velvet leftovers, this is almost completely confirmed by the fact that they were curated by a producer for SM Entertainment who has produced exclusively for Red Velvet. Just go compare So What to Kill This Love or Boombayah, and then compare it to Butterfly or Egoist. There is no consistency. This is generic, meaning it could belong to any K-pop group. The same can not be said for a lot Loona's older material; some of it? Sure. Most of it? Not a chance. Loona blew up because they had a unique sound that was a breath of fresh air from the generic sounding stuff the rest of industry was shitting out at the time. You're trying to act like you're just wanting to have a civil conversation but then using antagonistic shit like "all K-pop is generic lol" Like yeah, maybe it's generic the way all metal music is just screaming and loud and "generic" when you're just looking at through the window. But when you actually get into it, like anything, there's a lot more than just what's on the surface.

Holy shit that's pompous as fuck, didn't know that 4/4 and "simple pop structure" automatically equated to generic. Goddamn, someone go get Megadeth and tell them they're generic because they play in 4/4. This is generic for K-pop, meaning it lacks identity. Loon's older music had identity to it, a consistency in sound and production values. This sounds like a Blackpink or Itzy song, like it doesn't have Loona's sound on it. And sure, if you're gonna generalize "all pop music" as that and say your favorite genre is fucking metalcore, yeah, I wouldn't expect you to know what you're fucking talking about and not see the difference. That's like the average white rock fan saying "all rap is crap, Lil Wayne sucks all he does is rhyme the n word with the n word haha he wouldn't have a career if that word didn't exist" like you just fucking stupid because you don't know actually know what you're talking about. Damn tho, I forgot all music in 4/4 sucks, let me go call up my good friend Brian Wilson and tell him that Pet Sounds's pussy is cancelled, sis.

RIP Loon 2016-2019. The single is literally just a Blackpink song and the while the B-sides are good, they're quite literally just Red Velvet - Perfect Velvet leftovers (thanks Lee Soo Man). There is no more identity. Orbits only care about "omg the serves, sis" rather than the actual creative artistic vision that made Loon so good to begin with. It's all over, this record is the first nail in the coffin. Jaden Jeong made this group who they were and Orbits will never admit it because they got a vendetta. The Loonaverse is dead and so is their hope for a future. If they continue without Jaden, they're gonna be as generic and lacking in identity as this. If Jaden comes back, Orbits will be pissed. There's no winning, Loon is already a timebomb ticking.
