  1. Oh my fucking god, this album came so late but Crown is top 10 songs of the year material tbh
  2. Then you shouldn't have made such a blanket statement and said something still not even that specific like: "X's label is milking his legacy"
  3. Imagine unironically talking like this
  4. lol remember when i used to get downvoted on here for talking shit about this guy? now it's The Trend. Anyways, this dude is part of the culture now whether we like it or not, and also he's dead so he doesn't really have a platform to do what he was accused of anymore so, I mean, I guess it's not really that bad to listen to his music anymore; I feel like a lot of people force themselves to hate his music because of all the stuff going on surrounding him when he was alive, and that's pretty sus too tbh. Anyways, the titular single kind of had me excited this would sound like 17 Part 2 or something, I even liked Skins because it sounded purposely unfinished by X himself, which has always kind of been his thing, like short, structureless, purposely unfinished songs. But this in particular actually does feel actually unfinished, more like a compilation of songs that other people finished up as features rather than the actual Bad Vibes Forever he had planned. Some of the songs sound like he had recorded and finished them but the mix/master ruins that completely. My biggest problem here is that the production is sooooooooooo fucking sterile. Sounding clean and well-mixed is one thing, especially when it's mixed in a particular way (Revenge and all the EPs before it were raw and amateurishly mixed, 17 was lo-fi and unrestrained, ? was warm and polished, Skins was cold and loud), but this just feels...like it was mixed poorly on purpose to make it seem like it was still "genuine" and "raw" but then mastered super-duper loud the same way that whoever did it would master a pop album, just brick-walled to hell, and that alone makes this sound like it was a record label putting shit together without any care for the original artist's vision. I think there are some really good songs on here, but the way that whatever dickhead who mixed this mixed the acoustic guitars on 90% of the songs is both amateurish and embarrassingly bad, just un-fucking-listenable, it's not even a desirable sound for bedroom musicians.
  5. We Appreciate Power has already been confirmed as a deluxe bonus track. I think the thing with it was that she announced at the beginning of the year (or end of last year? I don't remember, the past year went by so fast) that she was making two albums but eventually consolidated to just this one. I would bet one of the albums had a more industrial sound like WAP does, because WAP doesn't fit the vibe of the rest of this album at all so I'm kind of glad it's not on there despite being a banger.
  6. I've listened to it three times already and it is very good. I can see why We Appreciate Power was cut for a bonus track tho, it doesn't necessarily fit with the rest of the tracks, although I would attribute that to the fact that she was originally making two albums. And honestly, with over three months to go till the release date, I'd think she's sweating enough to maybe go back to making that second album. There's also the other theory that she herself has leaked it seeing as it's been finished.
  7. Nah, thanks for letting me know, I forgot about that actually. I appreciate it! What do you mean by "the cards"? Sorry, I'm not familiar lol
  8. holy fucking shit how did this slip so early
  9. Wew...let's hope this is better than that last pile of shit. The first 3 tapes in this series are great tho tbh
  10. Fuck oh man I saw this at the top and thought it was a new surprise album ?
  11. When you don't have an ounce of aesthetic creativity anymore so you appropriate "Japanese cyber culture" for your dumb album cover Okay but I'm right tho, white people needa stop this shit lmfao
  12. I wouldn't tbh, the COWYS albums and the Hellboy mixtape are probably the easiest place to start. This isn't...particularly good or cohesive tbh
  13. Yeah, and they should drop it for free instead of buying a guy's fucking estate when he dies so they can capitalize on his death. Fuck Columbia forever. All music should become public domain upon death.
  14. Well that came out of fucking nowhere, hell yeah.
  15. God DAMN this is good. Even the corny ass dialogue between the songs (total Nightfall callback, it rules) is so enjoyable, reminds me of growing up with that album. Literally nobody else right now makes music to the scale that Blind Guardian does, barre maybe Nightwish.
  16. Holy shit, 20 years in the making. This is gonna rule. Anyways, not big on the "Twilight Orchestra" logo for consistency's sake, so I made an edit with just their original logo, figure maybe if someone else is bothered by that type of thing too, I'll save them the trouble.
  17. I think I'm in another Berenstain/Berenstein deal because I could have sworn this album came out in like July.
  18. It doesn't even feel good reeling in a fish with bait this weak.
  19. When's the official version getting up'd?
