  1. Did you guys know that George Bush was the American Idiot all along?
  2. What if we kissed in The Slow Rush room? ?
  3. What would you do if we kissed at the Funeral? ?
  4. Oh idk the specifics of it, I'm not them, I don't even know anything about the members. T H E was a really promising debut despite not really being that special, A N D was half-mid/half really good but an overall letdown from the potential that T H E showed, 3 mostly delivered on that promise and actually managed to combine pop-friendly songwriting while still being just a bit complex enough to satisfy math rock fans (?), and just last year on the Repeat EP they started doing some really fucking out of the box shit despite every song basically being the same song. This whole album is just all the same shit tho, just really milquetoast pop-pandering. And there's nothing even wrong with simplistic pop music, there's some fucking outstanding pop records out there, I love pop music, but there's nothing even catchy or unique about this. Just Avex Trax bootlicking. People who don't listen to much J-music will love this tho, but people who've been listening to Japan for more than two or three years have and are hearing better right now. Anyways, if you're looking for interesting J-music artists kicking around right now, Minakekke, Xiangyu, Mariko Goto's new solo project, and Oyasumi Hologram are incredible right now. If you're looking for something that's mathy and actually unique, Maison Book Girl might be an "idol group" at their core, but they're fucking exceptional and nobody else has ever sounded like them outside of the like two other artists their producer has worked with before. And if you want the alternative, the last two Number Girl albums are basically everything Tricot has failed to be.
  5. Oh so they're back to being boring and doing what Avex tells them again? Fucking hell, every single fucking time they start to get interesting, they go right back to dribbling out the most boring shit instead of going further with the innovation. So many better underrated Japanese artists that don't get the attention Tricot does. Total shame.
  6. This album is gonna be so fucking good, every single has been so diverse so far, like even more than usual, but the way that they tracklist their albums with the interludes and stuff always makes it feel so seamless, this is gonna rule.
  7. soccer balls out for soccer mommy
  8. Woah what the fuck, how come I didn't hear that this came out, damnnnnnn okay let's dive in

  10. Already like this better than the last one, but still not even remotely as good as the first few EPs and the first album. Edit: Wait nah, the first two songs are good, the rest sucks. Like I have no desire to even revisit this album again after that. The first album was an immediate replay on first listen, and I still listen to that record to this day. This album just feels exhausting to listen to.
  11. Oh fuck yeah, this is gonna rule. Dicks out, fellas.
  12. Y'all are cowards, this man literally just dropped a fucking song about eating pussy without a single bar that explicitly mentions eating pussy. That's a fucking power move. Okay but in all seriousness despite this actually being kind of a meaningless dummy pop bop, I'm disappointed in the front of wishing that he did something more serious. Like Purpose was such a good step forward in artistic direction for him, I was really genuinely expecting him to write something super deep and emotional and personal about how fucked up his life has been and the trauma he no doubt suffers from every single day because of being put into the world's biggest and most scrutinizing spotlight during the most formative years of his adolescence and basically living as a verbal punching bag for insecure adults...like I really wanted him to make this bold artistically dark album about that kind of personal trauma that I know he is capable of doing but keeps having his record label get in the way of. I almost have no doubt in mind that he originally did make some really dark and deep records but when he showed them to his record executives they were like "What the fuck is this shit, Biebs, baby? Nobody wants to hear about your feelings, baby, they wanna hear about that yummy-yum. Do it over again."

  14. Nah, Grandma over on JPS is saying there's some censored lyrics. I'd take his word on the validity of just about anything tbh
  15. Bruh you chad for bringing the J-music to this site, ngl. Gonna have to wait a bit for the uncensored version to drop tho, likely with the domestic physicals. Apparently the censorship was less focused on the art and more on a lyric about fist-fucking.
  16. Just say the n word with a hard r and get it over with.
  17. WAIT WHAT THE FUCK Oh my god why didn't I hear about this oh shit holy fuck oh my god it's happening FUCK
  18. This band would be absolutely nobodies if Yvette wasn't in the band lmao, dudes straight up only listen to this band because they wanna smash
  19. I'm surprised to even see something like this make its way to Kingdom Leaks. The mfs here are so selective with what foreign music does and doesn't get up'd here lmao Did the 3776 album get put up here? Because I know that's made its way out of like...just the JPS circlejerk of transcendent Japanese music and into like RYM and shit.
  20. This is god-tier Vocaloid shit, god DAMN, Supercell who?
