If you are looking for beautiful music that crosses genres and brings a new unique sound to the game in a way completely different than all of the other "pop metal" band's like Issues, this is something that you need to check out. The song writing is phenomenal, the drummer is one of the best in the game, the singer has such a beautiful voice, and they have brought a whole new take to the soft/heavy dynamic that a lot of band's have made stale.
If you like bands that experiment with what it means to be rock or metal this will be your cup of tea. Ffo Deftones, Issues, Black Peaks, Periphery, Tesseract, or if you just want to hear something unique
Good shout on Black Peaks.

They only sounded like that on that album. You're in for a treat if you keep digging.

Everything here is stuff that just follows the exact same formula as bands like Northlane, you can just tell right from the start with the ultra generic drum beat that the album opens with.
Can't say I'm disappointed because I had no expectations, but it's clear that progressive metalcore isn't going anywhere new or interesting anytime soon.
Same bland, mechanical riffs, same boring sounding drums, same overly clean sound. Nothing about this is engaging save for the vocals, which really are the only thing that stands out here. Even then, it's accompanied by boring instrumentation that follows the same exact formula almost every song, save for maybe one ambient part or two.
This. And the kids eat it up.

Man I wanted this to be good, but they've gone full Butt Metal.

Hate to be a pain but does anyone have a CD rip or something that's not from vinyl? It's super quiet.

What y'all said. I love having the instrumental versions of ... well just about everything I listen to, but it's still too rare. DGD setting that example though!

I didn't think it was too bad, but I'm not that into Baby Metal either really.

I can't get the 320 version to unzip on my Mac or on my Pixel phone. it's acting like there's nothing inside the zip

"What in the hell are you listening to? Is that Baby Metal?"

This great! Also he sings like Tom DeLonge which is nice.

I don't see why I'm still so surprised that people like the most generic stuff. Sorry to be negative, these dudes are good at what they do.

I hear the Feldman influence again in the chorus. Not a bad thing though.
