    Rape is rape, I don't even think you can use this argument when he was convicted on charges of raping a thirteen years old, and apparently, distributing videos of it, and using part of it, in a music video. I don't know about you, but if a thirteen year old lied to me about their age, I wouldn't listen? Cause I can tell the difference between a thirteen year old and an adult

    This is some high quality ass victim blaming. And it's kinda sick that you're doing so. You should always verify someone's age, always. It's still considered statutory rape in most states. Because you failed to make sure that person really was of age. And in some cases, I'd say even didn't care. You could make a strong argument it's emotional manipulation, especially with someone who has a huge platform

    This is probably the best comment so far, there's better pop punk in recent memory than this, however none of those are the most mainstream releases, so they may be overlooked

    Honestly the best pop punk album released in years. Every song feels unique and great in it's own way. It doesn't get stale like other pop punk albums and pretty much every song is catchy as hell.  Bloody Valentine, Forget Me Too, My Ex's Best Friend, and Play This When I'm Gone stand out to me but again that's not to say the other songs are bad these are just a step above.
    Better than the last Neck Deep album that's for sure, also feels alot more personal.

    This is certainly good, but try out stuff like Can't Swim and the new Stand Atlantic album

    If anything, growing up in that kind of environment commands more respect because you have to deal with the crabs-in-a-barrel circumstances that an oppressive and militarized government has put you in to begin with. You have to do what you can to survive, and for a lot, the gang lifestyle is a very promising form of "protection" and means to get by. It's not easy to get out of it, and this guy just fucking did.

    I mean, this doesn't really justify that he's a convicted pedophile tho, and has other rape allegations against him on top of that one. Gang shit or not, rape ≠ justifiable

    Gang violence is a problem, yes. It's a necessity sometimes sure, but with someone like this guy. It has gone too far imo

    It baffles me people here are complaining this sounds like radio music, that's what FATN has been on every release since their EP. This album is a direct continuation of the sound from their last album as well, not much changed between the two, this one is a wee bit heavier but that's about it 

     

    That out of the way, it's just more FATN for me. Consistent 6-7/10 band, and I think I'll toss a 7/10 at this release

There will be more music coming out the next couple of months as well as another EP probably 2021. The EP will strictly have features. So each song half and half of course with the artist and Eagle Owl. Very different styles will be coming for experiential purposes to see what works and what doesn’t for his platform. Can’t wait to share with you what’s coming next.
