The heavy parts aren't good, the weird country verses aren't good, the chorus isn't good. Nothing is good. There's experimenting and trying new things. Then there's throwing everything at the Brick Wall and seeing what sticks. Nothing stuck.
I'm still going to check out the album but why make this the album opener?
Country verses?
I don't mind that you don't like the song but I'm not sure what you mean by country verses

First ten years of releases, not first ten years as a band. I specified what I did for a reason. Unless you want to count the two demo EPs, but they don't seem to.
Again, I specified what I did for a reason.

The redux sets are specifically for their first ten years of releases, WBIEF-TIHTWS

Not sure where the BMTH comparisons are on this track, this song is pretty standard Tects

ADTR is 3/4 for me rn. I liked resentment, mindreader, and this song. Still don't like degenerates much

That's good enough for me then.
Band has never provided evidence to the contrary, and does believe the women were raped, they just say it wasn't them
3 hours ago, Anonymuun69 said:if the band is strictly supporting and encouraging certain ideas, whether it's nazism, rape, or whatever you have, then yes, the separating doesn't really work, music can still be good, obviously, but with such a message it looses all the taste and quality.
But when the band doesn't have to do anything with the controversy regarding it's member/s, then I don't see a problem. It's like say, listening to a band for 5 years, then suddenly someone in that band is accused of murder, so you say the band is shit and stop listening to it forever. No, the band isn't shit, one of the member is, like you said, it is especially a problem with vocalists. I won't support a band encouraging any of that. But if a band had some fucked up members, I don't care, at all, not my business. Doesn't mean I defend those members or ignore their actions in any way, it's only about the band and the music under it's name.
I appreciate you actually having a discussion over this, very nice
While I do understand what you're saying I'll keep it relatively short
This whole band was accused iirc, not just one member

Why did people support Varg for so long, is burning churches and murder okay, becuase reasons? Or because it was his past? That's the general hypocrisy I'm talking about. You either "separate music from the artist" which I support, because listening to music on your device won't support shit, by the way. Or you either "fuck this band" with all of them. I just think people should focus on the people behind the band, not the band itself, the band is not a person, it's a group of people. And usually the entire name of the band gets a backlash because one person in that group fucked up.
And also, I do not discredit or defend anyone, because people like do assume that I do, good for y'all.
My discredit comment was not in reference to you, it was the comment above me, before you posted
Bands names will, and this isn't good, always be damaged by an allegation like that, especially when it's the singer, since they're the "face" of the band
Unless the whole band was complacent, the whole band shouldn't be "cancelled", I agree.
I personally struggle to seperate art from artists when the art can feel disingenuous because if those actions
I do see what you mean about hypocrisy though

There was a same controversion with Shrine of Malice like a month or two ago, but apparently in that case most people do not care because they can "separate the music from the artist". Gotta love some good ol hypocrisy
I would argue bands doing such malicious shit is people's business when they have a platform and, in lots of cases we see, abuse that platform
Saying most people don't care about SoM when that happened is dumb. People were super pissed, rightfully so, and the band got pretty handily destroyed because of it

Especially when a venue came forward with the allegations, not just the people

Imagine discrediting victims with "they said it on the internet"
Disgusting

Aside from me being a memey shitlord to edge up there, this post was pretty dead of drama, no need for this comment

I register you're making a joke by calling me racist, but your joke smells of mild hypocrisy
And that's what's truly golden

This is easily the worst single they've released, maybe in their career. The only thing I can think of worse than this in terms of singles is Renegade, the only redeemable factor here is the chorus.
Surprising comment from me I'm sure, given I'm usually defending the band

I loved Silverstein in middle school but then I grew up. I know right? Yikes. Those high pitched cleans aint for me! Sorry if I offended you, but honestly we never agree and Im fine with that hahaha 😁
Silverstein isn't my favorite band
No need to attack me cause you don't like my opinion, you're the one coming off as offended

Not a download link, it's a link to a document the band wrote to help people follow along with the story

Any song from Fear Me (album) all the way to these 3. There's a helpful playlist the band made if you wanna listen to the story in chronological order
