I'm probably being a bit harsh on AS. I don't think I was in the mood to listen to music and the overall vibe of the album felt weird to me

I like DBM2 as well. If it had better vocals I'd agree with you. It's okay. Dance Gavin Dance can never do worse than the tragedy that was Acceptance Speech

Do you seriously think he dialed it back vocally? This is the best his vocals have sounded. And you're definitely lying to yourself. Literally their last two albums blended together, if you listen without paying much mind, it sounds like the same song throughout each album. Every complain you're making belongs to each of their albums. Don't cherry pick. I play two instruments mind you, saxophone and Trumpet. And I've taken vocal lessons for 3 years. And you can very clearly hear the bass on this album, unless you're deaf. And the guitars were pretty on point. Jonny is a repetitive person. In Emarosa, Dance Gavin Dance, and Slaves.

My problem was more with their first album, than their second. The first one just really bored me, the second one was much better, but this one blows them out of the water

They just can't get over their Adam boners. Matt is great with TDG live, he does their old songs so well and with so much passion

Color me fucking impressed. This. Is. Great. Hell. This right here. Is probably one of my favorite albums ever made I was thinking ETF, or TDG would be my favorite album, but unless they pull something out of nowhere, this'll be my favorite album of 2018

Okay I'm back after a listen. And this was great. Almost as good as HISD. I'll be back again later after a second, more in depth listen, but God, this was fucking beautiful. If ETF leaked right now, I'd still like this more, and ETF is my favorite band. But this. This is glorious He could so do that tho. He's got the voice
