Most people who hear Loathe absolutely love them. I've been to shows with Bad Omens, Like Moths To Flames, Silent Screams and many other bands with rather large fanbases where the crowd was absolutely dead because they only cared for the headliner. You're an actual idiot if you think that a crowd would go crazy for a band they dont know. Their latest album is considered one of the best of 2017 in many online communities , so no, people do not agree.

    I've seen people go crazy for really small bands but when I saw them they were supporting OAA and Bury Tomorrow who are two really good live bands, I might go and see them when they headline a tour to see if it alters my opinion. Holding Absence are a really solid band though.
