Weezer's White Album seemed to backtrack to a time when they were great, but didn't really hold up in 2016. Mandroid Echostar's Coral Throne was trash compared to the eps. Terrible tone, shabby production and overall bad songwriting. Not to say I was all that excited for Macklemore, but fuck Unruly Mess was just that. Letlive was just preaching to me in all the wrong ways. Red Hot Chili Peppers let me down for the second time. Josh really needs to find a way to stand out in that band. I was actually moderately excited for the new Flume record, only to find it sounded exactly like the first. Artifex Pereo? Wasn't a bad album, still love those dudes. But maybe I'm just getting out of that genre? This Town Needs Guns was a fucking Island of Disappointment. Snoop, Kanye and Futuristic all left a bad taste in my mouth as well.
