Hey dude, just a heads up but Windows Media Player doesn't encode any higher than 192kbps. You can certainly set it to rip at 320 or 256 or any other normal MP3 bitrate, but upon spectral analysis it shows as 192kbps and no better, no matter how high you set the MP3 settings to. I've since moved on to MusicBee. It's the best player i've ever used.

From what I understand, Jamie King totally remixed and remastered this album, and we will be seeing a release of that very very soon.

I'm not trying to get anyone's hopes up, but I am in talks with this band about a potential vinyl release next year. Let's see where this goes.

Good tunes, but i find it kind of cringy when bands try and force marijuana culture into their name. Like it's obvious they were like "we want our acronym to be WEED so lets come up with something specific to that".

The auto-tune is really overused. Also, it's not 2007 anymore, two vocalists really just are not needed.

I still disagree. Sounds bad on vinyl sure because victory couldn't press anything with a quality mastering. But the CD/lossless? Sounds beautiful. The recording quality of the early to mid 2000's is the best in my opinion. Everyone still used real equipment instead of digitally modulated amps, sample replacement for drums, and an overly abundant use of quantization and auto-tune on the vocals. Even When Broken 15 was autotuned in post. The raw recordings of the early material are the clear winners.

I would have to disagree with them sounding fantastic. I didn't like the redux very much at all. Same with Senses Fail's new re-recorded EP.

Ehhhhh I would not go that far. Everything prior to ASOP is leagues better, but I'd pin ASOP as their last "good" album. The most memorable track on it was a bonus track, Abnegation.

I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of their new sound. I haven't really been able to get into their stuff since A Sense Of Purpose. They should really just let the classics stay the way they are.

Because that's what I feel the clean sections sound like. Standard fare clean singing for the genre, similar to that of Rise Records' roster of Post-Hardcore bands with higher pitched male voices. It's just my opinion man, don't get bent out of shape. I don't care if other people like it, good for them if they do, it doesn't affect me at all.

I really just cannot get into the new VoM. I try with every new song and album they put out, but they just sound like every other djent/Rise-core band out there anymore. There are a few fleeting moments of dirty riffage in their newer material, but i dunno man it just doesn't do it for me. Nothing beats the straight riff fest that Mowgli is.

This song legit brought me to tears. It's been such an emotional journey as a fan of this band. I am so glad they are pushing on as a band, i know it's not easy and they have my full support.

He in fact, IS the band. Just because a few statements are made does not make them truthful. JJ has nothing to gain from what he is saying as truth. Exactly what I said. Some tracks have corrupted data. Only plays/shows up as 1 to 5 seconds and then just goes to the next track.
