  1. Wow unexpected for sure. Will miss this site for sure. RIP KL. :(

With that being said, is there any other site recommendations that even come close to KL? I know of *edited*,  TheLastDisaster, and NewAlbumReleases but none of them upload all genres of music or even upload frequently like KL did. Any help would be great! :)

  2. 40 minutes ago, Zephyr Sunrise said:

To all saying it doesn’t sound any different. You guys are deaf then  they definitely remastered it slightly. And after the initial intro it’s a little heavier. Plus they took out the auto tune “and on myspace” part, right after the first part of the Do Da intro lmao. Though I miss that little part. This actually sounds a lot clearer then the original. Can’t wait for new AAS!!!!!

    They extended the ending too

I just listened to my limited edition of Geeving and the version on there is literally the same as this new release. They took out the Myspace bit and extended it for the limited release of Geeving. I think they just released it to streaming services cause it wasn't on there before..

  3. I'm so confused. There is nothing "new" about this. It is the same version that they put out in 2011. It is not even remastered or anything. My guess is that since this was never officially released that they would finally release it after 9 years. Not sure about a comeback though cause Martin is doing Cherry Pools and Angelo has been quiet on all social media for like 4 years or something, and the rest of the band pretty much quit music.... so... unless I am missing something here, I don't think this is a return....

  4. I posted a comment on their Facebook and Casval Wolfe (their singer) replied to me and give me this statement when I criticized them on this EP release. After the honesty and transparency he offered, I understand why they did it. Do I like that they are pushing old songs and milking them for every penny? Hell No. But I now understand why.

When I asked about it and criticized the decision, Casval replied with this and also posted the Tom Cruise meme mentioned in his comment:

"20% tom cruise meme trolling 80% necessity. All we did was release the digital version of a physical EP that was only available for purchase at live shows. We had six months of touring go down the drain along with a marketing plan that would be used to help supplement the release of new digital content throughout the year. Because of Covid-19 we've been forced to rethink everything.. We were leaning heavily on touring this year, coming back home and then locking ourselves in a studio to begin working on new material.

The hope is that pushing this EP through the spotify algorithm would help put a few more dollars into our band account and perhaps grab new fans on the internet before we begin rolling out the new content. Unfortunately, we NEED to space out the release of new content for the rest of the year while we try to find creative ways to raise money for the album.
I was on a live stream yesterday talking about all of this, explained in detail, and even shared a small preview of unreleased music. Social media has created a very stupid tug of war between wanting to give our fanbase what they want and being strategic in how we roll out our content so we don't get swallowed up by the "social media algorithm". It's already bad enough that the internet is over saturated rn and everyone's attention spans are at an all time low.

this shit aint easy man, I apologize for getting your hopes up. I appreciate you for being around as long as you have and for taking the time to ask us what the hell is going on. the new stuff is around the corner, it's gonna take a second to roll out but it's there. In the mean time you're gonna get some content on youtube such as guitar and drum playthroughs, some BTS material, and covers that we were sitting on to release while we were touring. I hope you'll stick around and be the wind beneath our wings!

the TLDR is that we got massively fucked this year and now we're trying to figure out how to survive the situation so we're just rolling out everything we've been sitting on in hopes that our fan base will give us the support necessary to help mitigate the costs of working on newer content."

I get why they are doing it but they also could have released this last year when these songs were new-ish. They could have easily set up a Kickstarter/GoFundMe to have us fans help them out in exchange for maybe some BTS content or videos of the recording process. To me that would have been the better option instead of re-pushing old music already released as singles in 2019 and tossing in a filler 1 minute boring outro to make it a 5 track EP in mid 2020.

Like I said, I get why, but I don't like it... Hope this helps y'all understand why they did this.

  5. Best album? Hell no. BUT they have always been good, Pop or Rock. I feel since the style change that they should have changed there name as well from ONE OK ROCK to ONE OK POP or just ONE OK. Having the genre in there name kinda limits them.

The album is alright. I just dont know if there is a Japanese version and an all English version cause it seems like this is 90% English with a few lines of Japanese in each song (which I dont mind) but an all English and all Japanese would be nice!

    Overall rating, 6/10!

  6. I gave up listening to Avril since The Best Damn Thing. I used to like her old Pop Punk/Rock style then she sold out. Since then I can't stand her music. I heard Head Above Water and I was hoping for a slow return of old Avril (Like she said would happen when writing this album). Now I hear the garbage that is Dumb Blonde and my hopes depleted. I downloaded the album and it is all radio garbage and ballads with 2 cringy as fuck songs being Dumb Blonde and Better Wow. I now fully give up on Avril. She lied to us fans saying the old Avril is returning and the "Pop Princess" act was dead as stated on twitter some point in 2018.

    I'm disappointed.

**At least she is still hot as fuck! (My #1 celeb crush from 2003-2010, since replaced by many others lol)

  7. Anyone know why Stålfågel sounds different? Like the album version has Alissa White-Gluz on backing vocals but the single and official video does not. Did they release the wrong version as a single or did they intentionally take Alissa out of the single? I cant find anywhere online whether the single was a demo or if they released the two versions intentionally (if that is the case usually it would say either "(Single Edit/Version)" on the single or "(Album Version)" on the album... I am so lost lol

  8. They either need to disband or drop off the horrible label that is Rise Records. It seems Rise has a reputation for destroying most of their roster over a period of time and it is no secret that Rise has control of most songwriting/production/genre of their artist (hence why when bands do leave Rise, they say the hate Rise and either sign with a better label, Sumerian for example or they go independent). I would love to see what MMF still has to offer with their own say. If they went independent and still released this lackluster material then and only then will we know that they gave up on trying to make decent music and are just selling out for the money. Now, this album is MILES better than This Light I Hold but nowhere near the masterpieces that are Challenger, The Hollow, Sleepwalking, and the OK album Unconditional.

Now please note that we won't know if what I stated is true that Rise has control or not, it very well could be Matty influencing the band to sell out or the bands decision all together unless they say otherwise if they drop from Rise. I am pretty sure, due to the feedback of the last 2 albums and the feedback they will get from this one, that they won't produce the same unwanted stuff over and over again unless they had no say and are money hungry, hoping us fans will grow to like this new style (which is highly unlikely).

All I am trying to say is, we all can agree that we want the old MMF back, the band who once had passion and created amazing bangers.

My opinion may be valid, it may not be but with Rise's reputation, I see them being in control...
