  1. Jesus this has gone to shit real quick. Why does everyone always have to insult and express hostility towards each other. The KL community has become extremely toxic as of late. SIGH
  2. He's just trolling for attention. Don't give him the satisfaction. If everybody ignores the idiot he'll fuck off into obscurity, where he seemingly belongs. That'll take a lot more than one or two albums getting hated on by the minority. In case you didn't notice, Em is getting a lot of praise on YouTube.
  3. Darkness is some controversial shit. Real as fuck though. Em just proving once again why he is the Rap God
  4. I'm a bit late to the party on this. Let me start off by saying I absolutely despised every album they have put out. To me it's been the same mainstream, obnoxious, teeny-bopper trash from the bottom of the barrel that only a 13 year old could enjoy. It's for that very reason I didn't bother to check out their singles. So this popped up on my feed and I figured let's give it a shot and holy fucking shit am I glad I did. I checked out Drugs after listening to this as well. Obviously the musical talent is there and Ronnie is clearly both a fucking good vocalist and lyricist, so their studio albums makes even less sense to me now. Popular Monster and Drugs are two of the best songs I have heard in a while. I can feel the passion in the music and the lyrics are deep as fuck. These songs are structured fantastically and the rap is blended perfectly. Ronnie clearly has some bars. If they can keep making darker, harder and meaningful music like this I will follow these guys for life. I sure hope they don't go and fuck up this new found opinion I have for them by making the same trash they have been putting out since their inception. I would love to see them release another dark track like Popular Monster that has Eminem spitting some rhymes. A Popular Monster version of Eminem's Darkness track if you will. Will be keeping my eye (and my ears) on these guys for the time being.
  5. The last album was pretty disappointing. This is much better
  6. First thing I thought when listening to the single is Divine Heresy, especially the drums and guitars.
  7. Fuck knows. It is average post hardcore at best. I mean to each their own yes, but I agree with the comment that was made that these albums got here because of popularity and not for what they actually are. Truly great metal albums won't win if they aren't mainstream enough. There were albums that are surely far more deserving to be here. Take Atonement for example. Musically it was an amazing, well written record and probably KSE's strongest album to date. At least that piece of trash bmth record didn't win. Happy about that. I didn't vote in the final round, but if I had to choose I would have gone with Slipknot even though it's one of their weaker albums to me personally.
  8. The Our Hollow, Our Home vibes is strong in this one
  9. 1. As I Lay Dying - Shaped by Fire 2. Killswitch Engage - Atonement 3. Any Given Day - Overpower 4. Saint Asonia - Flawed Design 5. Wage War - Pressure 6. Slipknot - We Are Not Your Kind 7. Abigail Williams - Walk Beyond The Dark 8. Versus Me - Continuous 9. Of Virtue - What Defines You 10. Insomnium - Heart Like A Grave
  10. Too much Throwdown / Hatebreed for me
  11. Hmmm gonna check this out for the collabs on here. Personally don't like Hatebreed and I think Jasta is a fucking asshole with a big mouth
  12. Some quality shit yet again. Era was a total banger. This is just as solid.
  13. Haven't listened to it yet but how does it compare to In The Shadow of a Thousand Suns? Into the Ashes and Into the Cold Wastes are my fav tracks by them. They're such juicy and atmospheric tracks, not to mention the drums on those tracks are just insane.
  14. Heavy? Sorry but this ain't heavy. Plenty of Deathcore bands much much heavier than this. For me personally SS just ain't SS without Mitch.
  15. That Sharon Den Adel feature It's great to hear Adam's voice restored to his former glory. Ghost is pure awesomeness. Definitely my fav track on the album.
  16. This is banging. HARD. Serious Any Given Day vibes in the guitars and screams.
  17. Neither download link works... EDIT: ddl.to works again. PTL still down
  18. Coincidence it is Keep up the good work BTW. Did you guys self-produce? Sounds great and I've never heard of your band before. Sooooooooo...... Album in the works?
  19. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but some parts are clearly ripped off from A Skylit Drive's I'm Not A Thief I'm A Treasure Hunter
  20. Shaped by Fire all the way. Korn and Void of Vision was terrifyingly disappointing
  21. Oof this album was very underwhelming. It was painful listening to how a band could go from such an amazing debut to such a mediocre follow-up
  22. Can I cry, be confused and laugh at that one? I'm conflicted
