they can be “exact” if they’re done correctly and with good equipment. if you’re using a usb suitcase turntable though, it’s going to sound like the initial rip. the updated version is nearly perfect. edit/source: i ripped vinyl for what.cd for 8 years and anything off pitch or the wrong speed or different volumes was not tolerated, so believe me that it is possible just not common when most newbie vinyl enthusiants on reddit don’t know what they’re doing.
