  1. I’ve been waiting for this. Thanks a lot @mR12!
  2. Best thing I’ve heard since Trash Boat released Crown Shyness!
  3. Well said! They are definitely the nickelback of metal. And I just can’t overlook that. Once upon a time, long ago, they had something special.
  4. Generic! Disturbed sold out years ago! They’ve became so big (and have such a large fan base) that anything they put out will sell. But, in my opinion, they’ve gone softer than a 95 year old’s penis!
  5. Always down to here a new TSSF song. Good tune! Thanks!
  6. It’s all about expectations. Beartooth caught our attention with Disgusting, and left us all wanting more. Then, with high expectations for another release, they let us down with Aggressive, as it fell way short of comparing to Disgusting. For me, I had very little expectations for this album, giving them a little more lenience in what I expected from them next. That being said, I actually believe this song was well executed, and is pretty damn good. It doesn’t leave me with the feeing that something could have been done differently. All I know is; that it exceeded my expectations. Is it ground breaking? No. Solid? Yes.
  7. Very good! These guys could have a very promising future.
  8. Great album, in every way! By far the best release this week! I’ll be honest, after one listen, this has the potential to be one of my favorites of the year. The song Crown Shyness is unbelievably deep and personal!
  9. I agree, it’s one of the “better” pop punk albums released this year, but We Were Sharks takes the cake for me, unanimously. TSSF will be the one to keep an eye one. So much potential in that band! “Out of It” was impressive, and very promising that their next album may just be the “proper dose” I’ve been waiting for this year! ?
  10. Almost didn’t check this out...but glad I did. Pretty damn good, and very unexpected. Comparable to Patty’s other band, CrazyEightyEight.
  11. I forgot about The Story So Far. They should have something out this year, and they’re definitely one who could give WWS a run for their money.
  12. I hope so. Fingers crossed! Who are you thinking could top it?
  13. This single is definitely better than the first, and on par with what I expect from these guys. Great hook!!! My faith is restored. On a side note: I don’t think anyone in the pop punk world is gonna be able to top We Were Sharks new album!
  14. Hello! I would like to request We Were Sharks - Not A Chance, in 320, please. https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/not-a-chance/1119107231 Thanks in advance!
  15. Glad I didn’t sleep on it! Great stuff! Their entire catalog is solid!
  16. Awesome! Been listening to these guys (and their signature sound) since they first came into the scene...which seems like forever ago.
  17. Perfect review, man! Spot on! Besides “You In January”, NCTH didn’t really have a song, with a hook, that kept repeating in my head after listening. Certainly didn’t have the “addictiveness” of the songs on TGG. Anymore, to me, TWY is essentially just “poetry in motion”, which I do like...however the contents just never seem to stick with me very long. In the liner notes of Sisiter Cities, it reads; “This record is really just forty-four minutes of rain falling on the roof of a parked car.” I almost feel like that’s literally how it’s supposed to be listened to (on a dismal, rainy day), to get the most out of it.
  18. I'm with you, on missing their pop punk edge! What the hell happened to that "Hoodie Weather" sound? That said, I still do appreciate what they've evolved into.
