When you have to release a 32 track album in hopes that one track will get popular

Actually, I think it’s more for stream revenue rather than popularity. If you can spread a higher number of songs out, the more revenue it can generate or something. I just woke up so I probably explained this like shit lol

Yeah, I love their first mini-album, but some of the tracks on the EPs since are favorites of mine. Perennial and Trust Fall specifically, but the brand new Bleach Bath is starting to climb that list.

Told Art this a while back, but I was lucky enough to see them play their 2nd ever show and they killed it. And that was just their second show. If you can imagine, the vocalist and lead guitars used to be in iwrestledabearonce, who I despise. And look at the quality of this output. Insane. Met them super briefly and they're SUCH nice humble people. So very talented.

Lucky duck. I wish I could see them live. ?

  3. This is bad. God. Why are they trying to push some kind of post apocalyptic theme with the band?? It feels so forced and disingenuous. The instrumental is... passable. Lyrics? No comment. Vocals? Decent. But sheesh. I’m so sad this band turned out the way they did. I’ll just pretend everything after Cold War doesn’t exist. It makes the pain easier. Aaron just isn’t frontman material for this band.

Lol some of these peoples comments about the instrumental track.

You get 5 songs with vocals and one interlude track and you fucking complain about how an interlude is a waste of space.
This is what makes artists wanting to do shit so difficult because we try to aim for pleasing people but also staying true to our art and people shit on it regardless like spoiled, fat children that don't get enough to satiate. Do you know how much money goes into making an EP? The production costs alone that artists probably won't see a return on because of streaming services?

Imagine not buying a download and whining about the number of songs you didn't pay for. Bunch of fuck sticks.

This EP is solid even though I hate the mix.

No, I'm not in Volumes. Just another artist that is becoming jaded by shitty consumers.

    Someone’s having a rough day. I’m sowwy.

I like this album more then P3 definitely, but it still doesn't touch either Juggernaut for me. The last two minutes of Follow Your Ghost are so fucking tight, I also think the 2 singles they released are my least favorite on the album hahaha. Great album overall tho

Juggernaut are the only albums by Periphery I can actively sit down and listen to without getting bored. Idk why. Everything else feels kinda samey and this kinda feels the same with the exception minus some parts. Guess this band just ain’t for me.
