Love both singles and hope the whole album holds up, cuz they dropped some of their best material.

So the Farias bros have beef the guys, it's that why they left?
Gus was rightfully kicked out but Diego himself responded before the long Volumes explanation, that he isn't into the heavy shit anymore and would rather create/produce hip-hop I assume.

Last single was genuinely like a b-side with an uninteresting vocalist that didn't live up to Jonny Craig's melodies, but this is actually really good. Verses great, chorus even greater, bridge is also sick.

The whole "Michael Barr back in volumes?!" rumor first started roughly a month ago when Raad and Michael posted instagram stories where in Raad's story Myke Terry was tracking vocals while Michael Barr was showing some similar/same looking studio room roughly around the same time. So as you can understand they probably recorded some material before/after christmas and I'd believe this is just a pre-mastered demo of things to come later this year.

You heard some of his alt r&b demos or what?

People mentioning the production need to understand that they did this at least once or twice before, most notably with Vahle (which still sounded much better) when they dropped the pre-masters. I'm just a bit sad Barr didn't flex his cleans on this one lol

It's my fave TWA album honestly. Songs like Trapped and Sellout are borderline scenecore staples for me.

You know, I expected this to be pretty great, because the singles were great and they do this kind of deathcore style really well, I didn't expect the whole thing to be this fucking overwhelmingly great. Very impressed after first listen.

I have heard that Erik is producing some tracks on his solo record as I have heard that Luke Holland is going to be working on it as well. I give TWA props for sort of going their own direction when it comes to this album and how it has really strayed the path from their early stuff, but I feel ever since Luke left the band it has become rather unfogetabble. I mean don't get me wrong, it is still really quite good music, but does NOT showcase Telle's vocal range at all, I feel like he isn't even really trying to show off what his pipes can do on the 3 singles that have dropped... I have had the chance to hear the entire album however and I will tell you that there are like 4 songs on it I think you will be truly impressed with as far as hearing his voice really soar and the music is solid as well....lyrically Telle has grown leaps and bounds as well on this record also. He is finally feeling comfortable as a vocalist/lyricist I believe after all these years. I have heard 2 solo songs of his as well and I will tell you this much...get stoked
Is his solo project like alternative R&B oriented or what genre would it fall into?

Vocal range/production on the first song on point.

This is legit fucking incredible, the only thing slightly distracting me is the fact that two songs have full on vocals, but others kinda do not. I would've preferred some vocals here and there in most songs, but still, as a whole this was quite the experience, one of this month's highlights for sure.

Super Whatevr - Don't You Wanna Be Glad? (2020)

There are some solid songs on this, notably melancholyism, unhealthy, life, the rest is beyond uninspired and dull.
