Very catchy but at the same time has the same structure and melodies as most of their recent output, they need to do much more than this to keep it interesting for longer, I don't want another Beartooth lmao

1 hour ago, TylerDurden said:Wow, On A High Ledge is GORGEOUS. Gives me vibes similar to the final album by Arcane Roots (RIP), "Melancholia Hymns". And Ratking is a total banger. Like others have mentioned, the songs from this album so far have been crazy diverse... I'm very excited.
Dude I thought of Arcane Roots as the song was about to end but I didn't feel like including it in the post, glad you also heard that

Liquid was a solid first single after their last album, nothing too new or impressive there, but then they dropped Everything Is Ordinary and I fucking LOVED it, what a great energetic change of pace that was. Now they drop these two completely different songs again and I'm blown away at the potential diversity and the caliber of the bangers in this album, this should be much more interesting than last LP as a whole. On A High Ledge is especially left field, so cool, but I can already see the normie babbies on Youtube whining about it.

I loved the previous two songs he dropped but I'm not feeling the first half of this at all, hope the rest of the album is less like this..?

They can make better music than this. Life's Not Out To Get You is so much better than this or majority of last album, what the fuck is happening to this band.

Not even close to Prisoner, sadly. It's also crazy repetitive somehow, what the fuck is up with that?

I barely listen to any Tech Death these days because a lot of it bores me or sounds the same (let's not discuss this please, it's a me problem), but this is fucking sick, some of the sweetest Tech Death/Deathcore I've heard in recent months.

Delacey parts are sweet but G-Eazy's borderline ruin the song.

@Dan yeah I agree with most of what you say. It felt like they gave us another pompastic, slightly too long single like The Sin And The Sentence, expect here they straight flexed for the last 3-4 minutes and it ended up being a much better lead single than TSATS. I feel like this album might be even better than it.
And the MV is just awkward and not that good, I don't know what they were thinking.

This is heavier than usual for March Ahead, also just a great song overall. I wish he'd blow up.

This is the most
moment i've experienced here in months.

Yooo, the first few minutes is like solid but slightly repetitive Trivium, but holy shit what comes after is fantastic. I with the song's first third was slightly shorter then it would've been perfect, but now it's still very impressive.

Quick take on this album would be that, this is weirdly heavy for them for the most part and I actually love that, but at the same time, most songs for me are in this 6-7/10 void where they're solid songs with some heavier, catchier moments of interest but besides a few songs I can't find a single song that would completely blow me away except for maybe the beautiful closer or would fuck me up as hard as some of their classics (Eternal Summer will forever be a 10/10 pop punk/easycore song for me).
But at least it feels like they're still nicely maturing and exploring new ideas and I hope they can somehow transform into a more chill inducing band, which the closer exactly did for me, god I wish this opens the gate for upcoming material sounding more like that.

I feel like they're not holding my attention anymore but I feel like there's something slightly fresh in parts of this, meanwhile previous single was just so dull and felt like everything they've done before, legit a b-side of previous albums. This p. litty tho.

Thank you
I liked their 2018 LP a lot and saw they dropped some demo disc earlier this year too but couldn't find it on spotify so didn't bother, now this shit came out of nowhere so good to see it here! 😍
