Like some have said: this is a cool song and it sounds a lot like their Dark Matter stuff but it'd be one of the weaker ones if it were on it. It was recorded after Warped Tour along with Overdose and is not a representation of their upcoming album though, as Telle have said a few months back (way after recording these two).

Japanese peeps are second to none when it comes to instrumentals and innovative music but their vocal department is often lacking, same here. Really good tunes but the vocals are meh.

So, what does it mean?! Humans are never gonna be completely happy no matter what happens... What a sad.. sad world.
Fucking sellouts, should fucking kill themselves

Just now, Rawrajishxc said:I've never really liked him or FIR but I do agree it's more creative and actually breaking the mold. Dead Rabbit's newer stuff isn't bad but tbh I don't even listen to them. Not hating on you or anyone else liking him or the band though. I used to love Craig in BTF and TWA, ETF eh not so much.
So which part were you were strongly disagreeing with then?
By "destroying" I meant that I think Ronnie's music is much more interesting than Craig's throughout both his bands, and yeah single's greatness is debatable.

Hopefully at least only to one and not both statements, but as you said, to each their own. Last two ETF albums are the epitome of mediocrity that blends in with the rest of this already oversaturated genre for me personally, meanwhile what Ronnie's doing with FIR is actually pretty creative and different for the most part, Fashionably late had some fuck ups but 1st and last albums (and the new singles) are quite awesome. Not a fan of Dead Rabbits either it's just decent metalcore in my eyes, nothing stands out, nothing impressive, it's just there.

Ronnie continues destroying Mabbit, good. Great single.

Holy fuck I'm so underwhelmed by this, it's not even a bad song but it's just so lacking what made KoG great, where dat intensity, bois? Unless this is their "middle" melodic/interludey song like they have on every album, then it's acceptable. Hopefully the rest are more intense and similar to Motif or last album.

I only listened to the first few songs and it felt like that, probably judged too soon, idk.

As much as I love heavier or more progressive it's not always more enjoyable, even if I can feel the talent
That's why I am not as huge on crazy heavy/crazy proggy bands like Rings of Saturn or Infant Annihilator..

They didn't even start to sound great until Invade so pls, and the EPs before that sound like dogshit so who gives a fuck.

People are posting the dumbest shit, most of which they'll forget in a few years, tops.

They are a very energetic band.I didn't really care for their album Real at all, I thought it was a big disappointment. I thought their 2nd full length Life Cycles was pretty good also, i just didn't like it as much as deceiver.Dark Matter was way different than any of the stuff they put out, but i thought it was amazing. This new song is awesome, it's very catchy and i think it's killer.

It's crazy good.

1 hour ago, Thatoneguy335 said:Man this is such a huge step down from their last album. The vocals are fine, but that hectic energy and absolutely killer guitar-work that made Life//Lost so damn amazing is nowhere to be found here. This is so chuggy most of the time. They're so much better than that. If this is an indication of what the whole album will sound like, it's gonna be super generic and super underwhelming. Everything Life//Lost wasn't.
I agree that it is a lot chuggy like Withered was and I loved Life//Lost for it's hectic energy and "full" sound throughout the songs but I still feel like these two new songs are nowhere near "generic" or much worse, they are slightly watered down in terms of instrumental richness, yes, but it's still some of the most exciting metalcore and i'm hyped for the album. I mean bruh, L//L was probably my AOTY that year.
-
The only gripe I have with this metalcore brilliance is that half these songs have these drawn out fadeout outros that are often really unecessary. I mean the instrumental tune starts fading out slowly one minute before it ends, that's fucking bizarre.
