  1. They actually dropped a song in 2019 that could be considered a mix between TTS and Sempiternal. Impressive.
  2. First 30 seconds are a bit obnoxious but the rest is top tier. One of the best things to come out of this project.

  4. What the FUCK is alternative hip-hop? I like the groovy instrumentals and some vocal lines are pretty catchy. This could be one of the more interesting songs on his last LP.
  5. Not a bad tease. Sounds fucking alien.
  6. This is actually much more interesting than LP1. Awesome.

  8. Fuuuck its so far away Anyways most of their last album is really good and the new single was fucking crazy but this was genuinely underwhelming. Hmm.
  9. I actually liked Glass Gloss and Ask For The Anthem more because they felt more like progression and they were good-great songs, this is a good song but it's like a dumbed down heavier b-side from the last LP. Nearly every song on it shits on this.
  10. Hahahahah I fucking knew it wasn't worth my time.
  11. Most artists can't really write that many good songs so yeah, this is on full display here. A third of it or so is great the rest is bad to decent. There are so few metalcore/post-hardcore bands who can write a great +50 min album, Dayshell is definitely not one of them.
  12. Album starts out extremely mediocre and honestly boring but by Set Fire gets faster, heavier and generally much more interesting, shame it all stops again with Nostalgia and then the album is kinda mid again. Don't plan on coming back to it, feels more like a colorless mixtape instead of a cohesive project.
  13. Release - October 18th, 2019 Genre - Art Pop, Neo-Psychedelia, Trip Hop Quality - MP3, 320 kbps CBR Tracklist: 01. Pop Song (5:05) Download Support! Facebook / iTunes
  14. Really liked the single, finna dl a Death Metal album, wow.
  15. This some tier pop-punk/alt.rock/post-hardcore shit, knew they had it in them to create something wonderful when I heard some of these singles, and for the most part they delivered. Songwriting is much more interesting than a lot of similar sounding popular bands.
  16. been for like four years, boomer. @humbleledger I disagree about Northlane being more cohesive. Love the album, one of the best core releases this year but there are definitely songs that are outliers and as a whole I think the album's pacing is off at times, plus I genuinely hate they included Rift as I almost always skip it it grinds the album's flow to a halt.
  17. I am amazed that after over two decades, only one original band member remaining they still managed to drop one of the best metalcore albums this year that still sounds like them but also fresh at the same time. Wow. Some aspects of this is something they've never done before and it works so well. Also that fucking Garrett feature caught me off-guard, so good Edit: sorry keep forgetting Cory hasn't been in the band from the start but he's been in it for +15 years lol
  18. It's still rough around the edges but I've heard bigger (even household names) bands with worse production and more questionable songwriting choices. Basically every song has at least some great parts and some songs are straight up great from start to end. I think one of my bigger gripes is probably parts like ~1:02 - 1:30 of Ghosts, even tho you're trying hard to deliver those lines the song feels extremely slow there and basically everything before and after is much more pleasant to listen. The vocal layering in some parts is top tier and the constant melodic/heavy switch-ups are great especially in White Noise and Solace. There's even some multilayered breakdowns in there. I think Hourglass and Solace are my fave songs overall.
  19. THEY LIKE TO PLAY WITH GUNS LIKE TO PLAY WITH GOD THIS INSTITUTION'S AMMUNITION HAS A WAY WITH US
  20. Incredibly boring, instrumentals are probably the most basic of all the songs yet. Shame, last single was awesome. Album as a whole is not looking good compared to previous.
