  1. They outdid themselves on all fronts and The Cold Sun was already a great album. This is just too fantastic, genre bending and boundary pushing, easily at least a strong 9/10, and the album closer touched my fucking soul. I just don't see anything metal surpassing this for at least half a year after first listen. Truly a band that's paving their own way in this oversaturated genre full of mediocre attempts at greatness.
  2. Pretty great song, as usual they manage to impress me with a single or two but I'm still not excited for whatever full release is coming at all.
  3. Release - January 31st, 2020 Genre - Alternative Rock, Post-hardcore Quality - MP3, 320 kbps CBR Tracklist: 01. Foolish (feat. Leroy Hamp) (3:44) Download Support! Facebook / iTunes
  4. yeah, I went from thinking it's a solid 7 with some terrible songs and awful pacing, to thinking it's the worst BMTH release and never coming back to it besides like three songs. The mixtape is genuinely more interesting and feel inducing than most of this.
  5. I don't know where this band come from but this is fantastic, especially the second half.
  6. I would prefer them with a more organic, better production but god damn this is pure fire. Gets real sinister towards the end.
  7. There are some solid songs on this, notably melancholyism, unhealthy, life, the rest is beyond uninspired and dull.
  8. aw fuck it's one of those, shouldn't have downloaded.
  9. The featured video is intriguing, some really interesting textures there, will have to check a look.
  10. Love both singles and hope the whole album holds up, cuz they dropped some of their best material.
  11. Gus was rightfully kicked out but Diego himself responded before the long Volumes explanation, that he isn't into the heavy shit anymore and would rather create/produce hip-hop I assume.
  12. @BenjaminBurnley this is neither a review nor a track by track.
  13. Last single was genuinely like a b-side with an uninteresting vocalist that didn't live up to Jonny Craig's melodies, but this is actually really good. Verses great, chorus even greater, bridge is also sick.
  14. Imagine clicking on this thread just to whine about what's already been whined about in his past +5 releases. Rent free.
  15. This is fucking great, album will be awesome.
  16. The whole "Michael Barr back in volumes?!" rumor first started roughly a month ago when Raad and Michael posted instagram stories where in Raad's story Myke Terry was tracking vocals while Michael Barr was showing some similar/same looking studio room roughly around the same time. So as you can understand they probably recorded some material before/after christmas and I'd believe this is just a pre-mastered demo of things to come later this year.
  17. You heard some of his alt r&b demos or what?
  18. People mentioning the production need to understand that they did this at least once or twice before, most notably with Vahle (which still sounded much better) when they dropped the pre-masters. I'm just a bit sad Barr didn't flex his cleans on this one lol
  19. I can't believe it actually happened lmao
  20. It's my fave TWA album honestly. Songs like Trapped and Sellout are borderline scenecore staples for me.
  21. You know, I expected this to be pretty great, because the singles were great and they do this kind of deathcore style really well, I didn't expect the whole thing to be this fucking overwhelmingly great. Very impressed after first listen.
