to name a few. You're misinformed, plenty of great female fronted metalcore bands and/or female screamers. I agree with the guy who said that the chick is unnecesary but same could be said with most bands that have 2 vocalists that play no instruments, so whatever. Like the synergy between Michael Barr and Gus is outstanding during Volumes live performances, and they don't play any instruments, and their range is similar.

I love ITM and HLH, but I have to admit, while Connector was fucking amazing and is the perfect kind of "maturity" I could've asked for ITM, the new HLH is a bit dissapointing compared to their last two glorious albums, with that being said, this album, while softer, is still VERY different to the bands you mentioned, it'd be weird if a band like ITM released something as heavy as the heavier songs on this record lol.

Great single. So far from what I heard the only thing that's lacking in this album is the punchy, more brutal/chuggier riffs, they're trying a much more prog rock/ambient maybe Polyphia-esque approach but it still sounds amazing and TJ fits in well, will be a great addition to their awesome discography. Doubt it'll top Augment for me though Also a lot more Jesse this time around, but it still sounds nothing like his other project Ghost Atlas, so that's a great thing as well.

Love the fact that even with their fanbase being like 80% chicks, they make actually very impressive punk inspired post-hardcore. Great stuff.
