Prefer the original but this was a good cover i think. Not a big fan of female vocalists in post-hardcore, i haven't heard anybody do it "right" yet. Maybe its just my taste.

Maybe we just find the construction and production of the song bad? Is that not allowed?

As someone who was never a fan of rap/hip hop/rnb etc... I actually enjoyed Post Malone's last album. But this.... this is just bad.

It's sad to see he kind of sold out to the masses. None of these songs are nearly as good as his first album. They all feel like half-arsed immitations.

Damnnn, i thought i didn't like it at first.... but im getting some solid metalcore/post-hardcore here and it works. The ending of their single was pretty good!

Wow.... what a.... boring song lol. It seems like these guys have been hit with the same thing that most pop-electronic artists get. They bring out a few good songs to get them on the map, now they're big and famous, they bring out boring filler music. Sad really, i liked their earlier stuff.

I respectfully disagree, compared to other bands in their genre, their sound isn't anything to rave about. Their lyrics are typical relatable angst mixed with a common catchy beat. It might just be me but i just don't see the appeal.

Their covers are normally a guilty pleasure of mine, like, im not a fan of their original music but their covers are normally heavier and obviously catchier than their original stuff. But this song just seems like they rushed it to get it out whilst the song is still relevant. Saying this, i'm surprised that people are only just now realising that this band does these covers just to signal boost their name, i think they kind of pin-holed themselves though with this as they're still doing these covers. They need to just either admit they're a relatively good cover band and cut their original stuff out, or just become a sub-par and hopefully improve original content band.

I feel like ITWOD was their peak, i really hope they do more heavier stuff, i feel that their heavier stuff is a lot better. They suit it more than this softer stuff. Cant say im a fan of this one unfortunately, but still ooking forward to the album!

Peoples problem with this is that the AA that most people know and love was quite a few years ago, they've definitely changed their sound so dramatically that a lot of people can't see it as AA anymore. If they honestly wanted fans to get on board, they should have changed their band name and gave themselves a rebrand since they rebranded their style. At least, thats the problem with me, nothing they've done in the last 4 years sounds like AA personally... If they changed their band name to a new one, it would all be OK because they are like a new band now.

Honestly, im truly disappointed.... The Used are nostalgic gods to me, i loved listening to all their songs on repeat back at school and college. But what i just listened to now felt like they've taken about 10 steps back and they're just recording in their parents garage. So sad

So this will be my 4th listen, maybe 5th, and i do love it... but when you've listened to it, you realise the structure of the songs are very similar to one-another. His singing is very similar in most of the tracks. And annoyingly, now that i've noticed it, i can't notice anything else.

Saying "this band is still relevant?" is nothing but rude. You can have an opinion but it holds no validity when its not constructive. Your post came off arrogant and unneeded. You can see that most people like this band that have posted in here, but you felt the need to bring your negativity in this post because?
