I'm one of those guys that think ADTR hasn't done anything significant since Homesick. With that being said, this month was super hard for me too. I only had to pick one and it's the one I enjoyed the most: STYG Better Ash Than Dust. Biggest surprise of the month, if not surprise of the year? CASEY. Holy crap that record is nuts. while Being As An Ocean isn't doing anything, this works REALLY well. I love this sound. @@Feeshmon you should post their song Ceremony if you haven't yet. It has Michael McGough from BAAO on it. Incredible.

August was super underwhelming. Nothing good of note really came out. Moose Blood - Blush was good, but didn't remove stuff from July off of my currently playing list.

People are SLEEEPING on Tiny Moving Parts' third full length. Its fuckin rad. Modern Baseball and Real Friends got nothin on them in may. Napoleon's first full length is dope too. Architects' new LP is good, but its nothing new from them. DGD Tree City Sessions is solid. Saosin didn't really impress me all that much. So for me: 1. Tiny Moving Parts - Celebrate 2. i agree with everyone. they managed to get better, which is insane. its usually the junior releases that get bands big. this is gonna get them huge exposure.

They actually wrote a song that has lyrics with some rhyme to it; it's not just words puked out of a 14 year old girl's mouth.
