I think that's the point of doing a solo project. You do solo, because you have other ideas than your bandmates (otherwise, your ideas would go for sure on the band's album). It's difficult to have everyone on the same level. I guess that's the beauty of it, and that's why you have the magical sound and music from Radiohead. If you notice as well, when the Eraser came out, it was not like Radiohead. You could argue that Radiohead, eventually followed the Eraser's style. Anyway, happy listening. I get a lot of U2 vibe from this album.
