    If they like heartless uninspired tracks that will cycle top radio charts, good for them. Does that mean their opinion on that music being "deep" or "quality" is valid? That's up to everyone else.

     

    What people think is subjective. And the majority are idiots with hive mind interests and tastes.

     

    That being said, this album is diverse while not drifting too far off for DGD. It grooves, it bangs. My only grievance is I was holding out for a Mess kicking in the door and going off like he has on atleast 1-2 tracks the past couple albums.

     

    And with that long winded think-piece, I'm going back to lurking on KL because this sorta riff raff happens every hyped release. The snakes always start to sing.

    I was just stating that a lot of people like DGD, which is why they’re such a big band.

    That means you should check out the band, Sianvar.   It's a super group with Hail the Sun's vocalist , Will Swan from DGD on guitar alongside Sergio Medina (Stolas), and Joseph Arrington on drums iirc.  Also I believe Michael Franzino is longer in the band, but he was on the first ep and also lp.  Check it out! 

    Michael wasn’t on the EP, ALLB’s original bassist was.

    The riffs on this track are  fucking killer though.

    IIRC, this song was personal for him so his wife sat this one out.

    Bonus track isn't on the CD. It's not on mine anyways.

     

    As for this album, definitely album of the month for me! Ended up listening to their older stuff since the only thing I've ever heard from them was A-Types until now. This and Magnetic North are amazingly good.
