They've really outdone themselves. Easily their best album to date. The dark, doomy, and post-metal-influenced atmosphere on this album is killer. I hope they continue in this direction.

It's not that bad lol, the lyrics are awful but his vocal runs in here are really catchy. 

No idea how I missed this one.

Absolutely. Incredible album. Their albums afterward are amazing too, I believe The Parallax II is my favourite.
