  1. I really dig this. Kind of like a "what if The Wonder Years leaned into their punk/hardcore roots" vibe.
  2. If you're looking for good metalcore, check out Silent Planet, Wolves at the Gate, Fit for a King, August Burns Red and The Devil Wears Prada Check out My Epic as well, they're incredible. The Almost is good, Disciple is still making music, Loyals, Hearts Like Lions, Off Road Minivan, Artifex Pereo, Paradise Now, Glass Age... There's still a lot of good stuff out there, just gotta know where to look. I recommend checking out https://www.indievisionmusic.com/ as they usually are up to date on that stuff.
  3. Remember when We Came As Romans released that self-titled album in 2015? Or when Memphis May Fire released Unconditional in 2014? That's what this single reminds me of.
  4. This will hold me over nicely until the new PTV comes out, hopefully this year.
  5. I'll echo what everyone else said in that this is good, but is not a progression from the last album, nor is it what I think they are capable of. This song could be a b-side off Deadweight easily. I want some progression from this band, mostly because I recognize how talented they are and how the song structure is hindering any kind of growth. Aside from that, I hate the artwork. Why is every hardcore/metalcore band trying to copy Post Malone's art style? Just do something different.
  6. What a terrible, no good, very bad name. I legit thought this was a soundcloud rapper based on the name alone. Music is decent though.
  7. @wdmccarthy93 definitely, as well as a ton of August Burns Red influence. Some serious mid/late-2000s Solid State vibes from this song.
  8. Nik Nocturnal and Andy Cizek just dropped a cover of this song too. Cool to see the youtube community support this band.
  9. I'm pretty meh on this single. But I couldn't get into Sleepwave so that's probably why. Will this album be Underoath's version of Blink's Neighbourhoods, where everything will be influenced by Sleepwave like Neighbourhoods was influenced by AVA?
  10. I really loved Coconut Dracula, but this is hilarious and dope. It's like Attila without being a terrible human being.
  11. Holy. Dude went in on this song. The nursery rhyme section was incredible.
  12. Around the time Aaron quit is when they decided to no longer identify as a Christian band iirc. Here's a link to a video about it from the boys themselves. http://www.theprp.com/2015/04/30/news/underoath-members-explain-their-decision-to-no-longer-call-themselves-a-christian-band/ Four of them claim Christianity still (Aaron, Chris, Tim, James) while the other two don't (Grant & Spencer). I'm pretty sure that's what they've said.
  13. It's so good to hear Brook again. How long has it been since the last Impending Doom album? 5 years?
  14. He's the drummer for At The Skylines
  15. Oh word. Thanks. Money talks I guess. I thought their days on a label were over with everything about Jonny.
  16. Just so you know, Micah is still in Oh, Sleeper, and they're still making music. It's just kind of on the backburner because Shane is in Wovenwar with the AILD dudes. So Zac joined two other bands and Micah made this one.
  17. I'm like 90% sure they got dropped from Artery, so looks like this will be an independent release.
