I have to say, when RARE came out, I wasn't expecting the drastic change in sound because I hadn't listened to any of the singles. It was a MUCH welcomed change as I wasn't a huge fan of the old Hundredth (the hardcore/metal/whatever you want to call it version). RARE was one of my favorite albums that year. Loved every one of the singles last summer and upon my first listen of this album, was slightly disappointed. A few more listens and I love this album. While RARE will always be my favorite, this album is pretty fantastic.

SO glad this came out today and can't wait for the album next month. Based on this song, I feel like this album will be much better than Gore. Also good to see they're working with Terry Date again (producer of White Pony). Gore was a great album but a tad bit disappointing after how great Diamond Eyes and Koi No Yokan were (and continue to be).

Every bit as good as I'd hoped and anticipated. My only complaint is that it's only 9 songs. Can't wait for this vinyl to come in!

I hope this comes with an announcement of a new album! So good.

One of my most anticipated albums of the year. And it's been nothing short of amazing so far!
-
This album is phenomenal and the rest of the songs are so much better than the singles they previously released (the singles were good too!). I'd say this album and Reflections' new album are my current AOTY contenders (obviously it's early being mid-March).

Hoping the next album is longer than 30 min.

Caspian was my favorite January release.

Been listening to these guys for years and each album always got better in my opinion. I may be one of the few that actually prefer Karl over Jesse.
Anyway, here's how I'd rate their albums:
1. Controller / Absent Light.
2. Mirrors.
3. Of Malice and the Magnum Heart.
It's hard for me to pick a number one between Controller and Absent Light.

SO glad these guys teamed up with Will Yip (Circa Survive, Citizen, Title Fight, to name a few...) for the production of this album. This album came out phenomenal!

So pumped to hear more from them. Really missed out on Everchanger's vinyl. Anyone willing to part with their copy/sell a copy to me? haha

those other records kick ass (but I personally don't care for BYD)
Same here! Very well-written album.

1. From Indian Lakes - Dimly Lit
2. Fit for an Autopsy - Sea of Tragic Beasts
3. Norma Jean - All Hail
4. Bury Your Dead - We Are Bury Your Dead EP

I submitted something I released (myself) on 9/27/19 and it's still sitting out there haha. It's going to be two weeks old next Friday if it's not reviewed.

Love the direction Joey's been going with his music the last few years. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album when/if he ever releases it!
-
Love what they've done since Tillian left. Honestly, they're way better off without Tillian. Hoping 320 drops soon. My pre-order arrived yesterday. You're right, reminds me of Moving Mountains as well. Wish they'd come back and drop another album.

It was either their Facebook or Instagram page, but I did read that the songs are B-Sides of You're Not You Anymore and Tragedy Will Find Us.
-
I'm thinking 320 will come soon because I just saw their Instagram story and it shows a lot of different people holding copies of the album. Hoping that means they have been selling them a little early lol
-
Thanks! Can't wait to jam this on my way home from work. Hopefully 320 soon!

Was initially sad to hear of Alex's departure from the band, but then I heard this song. It's so fucking good. I will definitely miss Alex's vocals, but Tom is an amazing addition to the band and I can't wait to hear the rest of this album when it drops. No anticipated release date announced yet, but I did see on their Facebook page, the album will be called "Eternal Nightmare".

8 hours ago, LKA said:Pretty sure this is just a preview for the full length. They released this with no promo and it is tagged as a "Single" on iTunes
3 songs?I thought they were releasing a full length album
I was expecting this for so long, so sad it's only three songs..
Their instagram as well as Aric Improta's (drummer) instagram confirmed this is just a 3-song preview of what's to come.

Honestly, it's going to be very hard for them to top White Pony, Koi No Yokan, and/or Diamond Eyes for me. That being said, I enjoyed this thoroughly and can't wait til next Friday for the rest of the album.
