  6. the vulnerability and melody in this song gives me all the citizen feels i need. clutch surprise single
  7. yum yum eat em up. this song is really good. the band commented on it saying it disrupted the album so they left it off. definitely good enough to make the album. thanks for posting!
  8. i find the cleans to be boring and dragged. the screams not strong and meaningless. no guitar riff or drums stood out. overall this is just forgettable and dull. nothing here was catchy. deleted the entire album lol
  9. LMAO CALLED IT https://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/greta-van-fleet-anthem-of-the-peaceful-army/?mbid=social_facebook&fbclid=IwAR1oJp8alKtLFDPh4tVrNyH2QNxQk3ryQunq60c2nXk9aXexdu-MiK7lUJE
  10. weakest month of the year so far for me. i only thought 2 songs were good on amity affliction and same for makari and annisokay but i amity affliction had more pretty good songs (i listened to amity affliction, annisokay, as it is, deaf havana, eminem, erra (saw this summer), interpol, mac miller (RIP), makari, time the valuator, trophy eyes)
  11. finally gave this a couple listens. pretty good but nothing great here. all songs sound the same really so it gets repetitive fast. end of the world i like the most oh look, my 400th post
  12. had to listen to this album even tho i don't check out too much rap. i liked more than i expected. he has a way of speaking to the listener. 2009 is hard to go back to; sad stuff. fav: 2009 also good: come back to earth, hurt feelings, what's the use?, wings, conversation pt. 1 RIP Mac
  13. took me a bit to get around to listening to this. album sounds nice. enjoy the vocals (i liked him in decoder) fav songs: transient, control pretty good: better, fractals, hyperreal ok: the jar, seasons
  14. i know im a bit late to this but i worked a lot this summer so i'm catching up. first couple spins i thought this album was pretty thin. now i enjoy more of it. pretty sure i missed them at warped fav songs: ivy (doomsday), drag the lake pretty good: feels like i'm dying, holier than hell, kick rocks, beltsville blues
  15. didn't know them before this album. enjoyed basically every song on here. impressive stuff. fav song: shade
  16. finally got around to this. never listened to this band before. pretty good pop punk stuff here. favorite tracks: in spite of me, had it coming, occupy your skin, admittance
  17. love me some surprise singles edit: this one wasn't good tho
  18. @moshlyfe i don't hate them. i actually kinda like them. it's just they have no style. they recreate zeppelin and now rush. all bands have influences but theirs seems more copycat. i still listen to and enjoy them regardless. the vocalist is clearly the most talented here. the thing is i just don't think they're good songwriters. it just seems like a mesh of potential talent playing mostly flat, empty songs. luckily they're young with time to develop
  19. forever & ever more and you know me too well are good i believe gods is in 6/8 for the verse and 4/4 for the chorus...interesting
