Don't understand the hate for Anthem of the Damned, it's awesome. Just because it's different doesn't mean it doesn't belong. The same could be said with the super light track Debts of the Soul, or even Skin and Bones off of Creation Destruction, but no one complained about those either because they're great. This song's also great, get off your high horse.

Been a fan since their first album. Ancient Waters was my jam. I didn't think they would beat Deathgrip but this album takes the freakin cake. It's their best album to me for sure. Kirby has outdone himself. Bobby just keeps pumping out sick riffs. Every single track is fantastic. Absolute 100% purchase. Thanks for the preview as I couldnt wait any longer to hear this!

TBH while I agree bands eventually can't keep pumping out the same type of material over and over, this album is a huge disappointment. I'm a long time fan of this band, and this new sound really is not what I think of when when I want to listen to "The Amity Affliction". What really annoys me is that almost every song follows the same exact structure, starting over slow or melodic and gradually building up to a heavier part/break/solo about 3/4 of the way through the track. There's hardly much variety, and I think I like 5 songs off the whole album. Regardless of songs people think sound cringy, it's just an extremely weak album compared to previous material and to me takes the 3rd worst spot under Cold World from OM&M and whatever garbage album Suicide Silence last put out (can't eveen remember the name that's how much I disliked it). Last album was my least favorite, with Chasing Ghosts and Let the Ocean Take Me being my top 2 to get a sense of what I enjoy hearing from them. While I can appreciate them trying to do something different, to me it just doesn't work. The only reason I even like a lot of it, is because they have such good sounding instruments and 2 amazing vocalists. It's rough for fans who enjoy a specific genre and then a band almost completely abandons that for a more mainstream or alternative sound, but some bands can pull it off. This was not a band that accomplished this, and I for one loved Bring Me the Horion's last album and sound change. Probably a 5/10 for me seeing as how I liked almost half the songs. Just my opinion, but I figured I'd provide some real context and actual reasons for disliking rather than just bashing it without saying why. Take it as you will

Fit For A King - The Price of Agony (Single) (2018)

Damnnnnnnnnnnn this track is awesome. Just because it's more melodic doesn't make it a bad song. Honestly, it manages to still keep the heavy sound FFAK is known for. I absolutely love the chorus and that intro riff. These guys will never disapoint me, and always manage to switch things up and not get stale. Haters gonna hate but this is an incredible song. Can't wait for this album, probably gonna be my AOTY. -

People are dumb that's why, it's my third favorite just because I'm stupidly biased towards Venom and The Poison but if I'm being honest I think Scream Aim FIre is what REALLY got me into this band to begin with. It's still an amazing album, but the other 2 are superior for my likings. Anyone who can't appreciate that album I just have no words for them lol

Very underwhelming after listening to the whole thing. Doesn't even compare to Venom which is probably my favorite album from them. It was the perfect blend of core and their shreddy elements and solos that made them who they were. I was expecting SO much more after they released Don't Need You which seems to be the best track off this album (almost feels like it doesn't even belong on the album with the rest of it). It isn't a bad album by any means, I enjoy it more than I did Temper Temper, but it's honestly just boring compared to all of their other material. This isn't what I'd want to hear when I'm in the mood to listen to Bullet you know? Hoping next album is better
