Am I the only person who doesn’t LOVE Kyle’s vocals anymore? I think these guys are a great band, and this song is no exception (It slaps) but something about Kyle’s vocals just turns me away from them, and it stops me from loving their music to the potential I should. I feel like his vocals get more and more jarring with each album cycle sadly

edit: Nevermind I literally just listened to it on my vinyl. No idea how I missed that. It sounds like Shimmer Pt. 2 to me, but my record player is far from the best audio wise

Any publicity is good publicity, I guess... and they know that. Everybody who comments on their stuff or talks about them at all is literally giving them exactly what they want (also ironically me for writing this, I know )

Would much rather have a new single or album announcement but w/e 🤷🏻‍♂️

Saw these guys on tour with Loathe earlier this year and remember thinking they were the strangest band I’ve ever heard haha. Really dig it though!

I do have one complaint with it. And that is that its structure is almost the same as Ludens'. This isn't really a problem with the song, but with BMTH's songwriting in general. If they continue to make songs that have structures too similar, things might become boring. That's kinda my thoughts with Sleep Token as well

Out of the four singles Uncontrollable Descent is the only one that I don't love. I've yet to listen but if the rest of the album has more short, punchy and hard af tracks like the other three then this is gonna be a ride and a half
