This band really can't pull off this "vibey" style of metalcore that more bands are trying, ground culture is still easily their best work next to their EP. The production on this album fucking sucks, that guitar tone doesn't even sound very good and it's not even at the forefront of the mix. It sounds so fucking tinny. The only saving grace for this album is that Dana is an incredible vocalist, really wish he would do more features. 

 

You could play this whole album front to back for me like 3 times in a row and I'd still have trouble telling you which song is which.

This whole album sounds like Too Close To Touch havent been myself. Heaviest song on here is Thank You though! Sounds like Sellout from Dark Matter. Super catchy album though!

But their band also isnt heavy. They incorporate screams/harsh vocals but very sparingly. Their full length coming out will be diverse for sure!

I dont get all the hate on this at all.. i feel like people are starting a hate bandwagon for this and its super confusing. Its a good album not perfect but super catchy and its more dayshell! Its got heavy and more melodic moments but dayshell has never even been a heavy band. Go back to their first album and last album and listen. Barely anything like some of these songs on there. Dude spent 3 years crafting this album and all you can say it that it sucks haha i get having an opinion but this is toxic. Enjoy the music and respect the fact that this guy is still going and exploring his musical interests.
