Well there's a first time for everything. And this is the first ADTR song I've genuinely disliked. It's all over the fucking place. The heavy parts aren't good, the weird country verses aren't good, the chorus isn't good. Nothing is good. There's experimenting and trying new things. Then there's throwing everything at the Brick Wall and seeing what sticks. Nothing stuck.
I'm still going to check out the album but why make this the album opener?

Why wasn't this released on Blueprints? It's a fucking slam
-
The EP can't come soon enough
-
I don't hate it but it's not what I was expecting at all. It's a good song, just doesn't feel like an Architects song. Still looking forward to the album
-
I mean it's not that bad, but it's not that great either. I'll still support the band in whatever they chose to do and if this is what they want to pursue, all power to them. But it does feel like someone was pushing them towards a much more "radio friendly" sort of sound rather than the sound they had on Dissonants

If bands are ever allowed to tour again I'd love to see both plus State Champs what a lineup that would be

That album cover though. I need that on a big 10x10 wall flag now
-
Can't wait for their debut album. Everything they've released up till now has been awesome
-
Just because they went back to a "heavier" sound doesn't mean I like it. It's better than the garbage they released on Gossip but it's still just generic hardcore chugging. Maybe it's because I'm older now but has kellin's voice always been so....whiney? I'll still check out the new album, but my expectations aren't very high.

Even though it's poppier than previous releases I still enjoy the EP. Haven't Been Myself is still way better

Ice Bear enjoyed this song. Ice Bear will miss Whak. Ice Bear thinks band have finally found their "sound"
-
Definitely better than the original. I enjoy a good number of their covers (Stressed Out, You Oughta Know, Cold Water), and their original music. The guys seem to have fun doing these covers, so just let them do it. Their Selective Hearing EP was great, let them have their fun by covering these crappy pop songs and making the into something you can actually bang your head to.

Ice Bear approves of this album. Ice Bear likes the darker and harder songs.
-
Ice Bear approves. Ice Bear enjoyed ETITB but Ice Bear thinks this album is so much better. Ice Bear's favorite is still The Predator Becomes The Prey
-
Ice Bear didn't like Limitless by Tonight Alive very much. Ice Bear thinks they were trying to do too many things on one record. Ice Bear didn't like The Amity Affliction's This Could Be Heartbreak either. More of the same, and Ice Bear wishes they didn't just repeat everything they did on their last album

Ice Bear is torn between Architects, Hands Like Houses, Dance Gavin Dance, and Saosin. Ice Bear can't choose.... Ice Bear loves them all
-
Ice Bear likes Along the Shadow and All Our Gods... too hard to choose one
-
Ice Bear approves
-
Ice Bear appreciates leak.... Ice Bear approves of new album.

This feels very weird. I used to really love this band especially with Haven't Been Myself. But this has been the least impressive EP. Really hoping the boys get their old mojo back.
