Brain Pain is the better track imo, but it still isn't amazing. Lyrics are good but the vocal melodies aren't good enough to compliment them, and the instrumentals are a bit lack luster despite the heaviness. Bridge is good too. Talking Myself in Circles just kinda comes and goes without much of an impact but it's not bad I suppose.

This is a very fun and entertaining album imo. Songs like Concrete and I Disagree are gimmicky like people are saying, true, but I'm enjoying myself while listening to them, which is fine imo. But then there are other ethereal tracks like Sit/Stay, Sick of the Sun, and Don't Go Outside, which, like @desk pointed out, have beautiful outros that really add to the songs and the album overall. Add Anything Like Me to the list of dope outros too. It also shows the amount of thought put into the songs which is always a bonus. Fill the Crown and Nothing I Need are probably low points; they aren't awful but they just don't do much for me. I wasn't expecting a perfect album though, nor an album this good, however. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the trip of a track in Bite Your Teeth which is a little messy but is a great time with parts both visceral and perfectly atmospheric. The album is a bit all over the place, but I think there are multiple cool elements that add to the listening experience, and has made this a sleeper hit for me, as well as a welcome strong start to 2020. I can't give this less than a 7. Favorites: Concrete, I Disagree, BLOODMONEY, Sit/Stay, Bite Your Teeth, Sick of the Sun, Don't Go Outside. Least Favorites: Fill the Crown & Nothing I Need

I don't think this is ground breaking like some people do, but I do like some tracks on here quite a bit. I think the best track is The Offspring, so it's a shame that it comes so early in the track list. My other favorites include: Dark Signs, Higher, Give, Gods, and Sugar. But the tracks that aren't my favorites, ones like Levitate and Take Aim, just stall out the album so much imo. I don't love the vocalist either, and I think the lyricism is mostly average, but there are some high points. I think the drumming and overall sonics of the album carry it, and there are some cool musical moments for sure, but the album just didn't blow me away overall. Definitely a solid release though, 7/10ish and it came at a good time in the year, where there's a lull in releases. EDIT: I also want to stress that I do think this is indeed a unique album as a whole for most listeners, but it just fails elicit much of an emotional response from me most of the time.

I'm not sure why I ever thought Ben could be close to being replaced. I do like the song instrumentally, though not one of their best, and the new vocalist isn't bad, just none of what he does is as good as Ben imo. Ben's lyrics will also be missed. Stillworld is one of my favorite albums so I should've tapered my expectations, but I still think this upcoming LP can be good.
