  3. I've been open minded about their new stuff, I very much enjoy Real and Dark Matter, but this is and overdose are nothing special. They said on fb the next album is building off sounds like Made This Way, Dreamer, and Trapped; I wish they went the Dark Matter song route, but oh well.
  4. I realize everyone has different taste in music and there are bound to be disagreements, but SOME of these really just shouldn't be in this thread. And it is realistic to think that some of the posters in this thread underestimate the term "god-tier."
  5. I think most of you dont understand what "god-tier" is. These are albums that were #1 the year they came out and still stand the test of time as being amazing. Some of these replies are laughable.
  6. So this is actually pretty good. The song is well written with some cool guitar licks. Don't Panic: It's Longer Now will probably always be their best release, but this gives me hope of an album at least as good as Future Hearts which was decent.
  7. oh shit that's awesome, will definitely give them a listen now
  8. I was wondering the same thing haha. 60% done with book 1 now
  9. Finally got my full list together: 1. Dance Gavin Dance - Mothership 2. Issues - Headspace 3. Erra – Drift 4. Jon Bellion – The Human Condition 5. Pierce the Veil – Misadventures 6. The 1975 – I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful, yet so unaware of it 7. Emarosa – 131 8. Invent, Animate – Stillworld 9. A Day to Remember – Bad Vibrations 10. Frank Ocean – Blonde Honorable Mentions: I See Stars – Treehouse Logic – Bobby Tarantino Moose Blood – Blush
  10. How tf did HLH beat The 1975 in February?! Also Architects was good, but not even top 10 for me. I knew it'd be dgd's only competition though.
  11. Singles were two of my favorites which isn't ideal, but some of the other songs are holding up too. This will take multiple listens but it's definitely really good.
  12. 1. DGD - Mothership (currently fighting with Issues for my AOTY) 2. Darke Complex - Point Oblivion 3. TDWP - Transit Blues 4. Dayshell - Nexus 5. FFAK - Deathgrip
  13. Chocolate Jackalope just caught me so off guard in the best way possible. This record is mindblowingly amazing, but that's common for DGD. They really are one of the best bands in the scene. Gotta digest it more to see if it has AOTY over Headspace. 10/10 regardless
  14. I'm talking like Mansion in the Sky and The Last aggressiveness
  15. Stovall was a god-tier album. This stacks up pretty well, but I was hoping for some more aggressiveness that Stovall had; this was predominantly mellow.
  16. He has art for every song, you should check those out too
  17. For Days was beautiful and Mercury was refreshing and a better closer. I wish these weren't "bonus" but I'll consider them when regarding the full album.
  18. Musically, it's cool, but not my favorite by any means. It'll probably grow on me eventually. The lyrics really do suck though, every song is just ambiguously about issues and government.
  19. Decent-ish, but disappointing. Definitely my least favorite song of theirs haha, and I liked Zero and Rise of the Runaways, just better written.
  20. THANK YOU. It was amazing before, not sure how it can get better but I'm about to find out.
  21. Twenty One Pilots - Vessel and Blurryface I See Stars - New Demons Pierce the Veil - Collide with the Sky Brand New - TDAGARIM Dance Gavin Dance - Instant Gratification
