@Lord Kingdom @STAFF Thank you for seriously taking my suggestion into consideration.
1. Dayseeker - Sleeptalk
This album also currently sits at my #2 of all time. I'm not even joking when I say that it's all I've been listening to since it's release. Like I have not wanted to listen to anything else because this album is just so perfect. If you have not, this album deserves a listening to, and I HIGHLY doubt you would be disappointed.
2. Fever 333 - Strength In Numb333rs
NGL, I didn't think Made In America EP was that great. But this album, it took everything that didn't make since on the EP and threw it out into the ocean. Jason Butler's performance on this record is 100% his best, there is no doubt in my mind that it is.
3. The Devil Wears Prada - The Act
I pretty much saw a mile away where TDWP were going for the future when they released Transit Blues, and It made me slightly hesitant. Even with the first single, I had to listen to it multiple times to finally enjoy it. But when they released the album, to which I gave it a fairer chance than most, this band proved to me that they are some of the best metalcore song writers.
4. Hot Milk - Are You Feeling Alive? EP
I cannot wait for this band to release a full album. This is one of the most catchiest and best pop rock/pop punk bands I have heard in ages, and I am excited to hear more from them.
5. Shrezzers - Relationships
Come on... It has SAX and SCREAMS. That is all you should need to know to listen to this.
6. Issues - Beautiful Oblivion
NGL, this album needs multiple listens to like. It's so radically different without Michael that you practically don't expect what the band does on here. But after multiple listens, I agree that some of Issues best songs are on this album, especially that opening track.
7. I Prevail - Trauma
I never would have thought that I would like this album as much as I did. Until this album, I pretty much despised this band because of how bad their music was compared to what level they were on within the scene. I still don't like their earlier stuff, but this album finally shows the type of level the band is actually on. This album also proves that picking the right producer doesn't not help.
8. Marianas Trench - Phantoms
Even though this band has gone more towards their poppier side than their rock side, the catchiness that this band portrays on every album still remains. Also, I want to qualify Echoes Of You as one of the top 3 songs this year; this song is so haunting (literally) that it keeps remaining in my mind.
9. Wolf & Bear - EP
Since one of their earliest singles as a band, I've pretty much known that this will be my favorite Swancore band. If you want something that's like DGD but on steroids, you need to start listening to this band.
10. Heartist - Sleep EP
As a comeback release for this band, they definitely brought the chops. I could see the potential this band had before their hiatus, and now that they're back I can see it even more now.
2019 was a damn good year for music, and I hope the next decade keeps it up.
