It is. My friend Malachi did vocals on that album. Was pretty bummed when I heard he wasn't on this...

The Search is an awesome album, I can understand why you would feel the way you feel, really liking this new sound as well though.

Yessir. If you dig The Search, check out his other bands Drown the Witness, and Dogmeat. Not sure if either is currently active, but they have some solid albums available
