Awesome thanks. I hope this is more like their first album than their second album. Can't wait to give this a listen to

7/10, at best. I miss the old FTP :( this is just poppy trash.

I might have been expecting a lot since Torches and Supermodel are both in my top 5 albums of all time, but there's something about this one that doesn't feel right. Not that these songs aren't good in their own right (SHC, Pay the Man, and Static Space Lover are great), but it feels like there is a lacking in something.. maybe ambition? in many of the songs on this record. I always welcome change, and as their previous album was more rock oriented I did expect a poppier direction which I wasn't afraid of. However this album just doesn't sound right and might just be not good, which makes me sad since I claimed them as my favorite band for a while.

Regardless, thank you for the leak!

If 7/10 is trash, what does an album need to do to get a 5 or less?

I liked it but out of the three, this one's the worst. Still a good album for me.

I'll give it a listen. Love these guys.

Edit: Hey, it is pretty good! It's not that poppy as you guys are making it sound lol
Pay The Man, SHC, I Love My Friends, Loyal Like Sid & Nancy and III are really good.

I've liked all the songs so far, personally I think what I've heard has been an interesting sonic shift for them that's worked pretty well. I'm excited to listen.

Maybe it will grow on me. Foster the People was my first indie band. Nevertheless, saddened by the direction they've taken.

Thank you! Will the 320 be up soon? Are the 320's on other leak sites not correct?

Yeah, all the other 320s floating around up until this point have been transcodes from the iTunes version, so not legit. But the 320 added now is a transcode from FLAC, so its HQ. Enjoy!

I don't really think "poppy" is the most accurate or fair assessment of the new direction here, it seems more funky / groovy from what I've heard so far. Enjoying it, not sure if I'll end up liking this more than their others though.
